264 CHAPTER 264

When Penelope open her eyes, the first thing she noticed is her leg. She only moves it a little but a numbing pain quickly spreads in her left leg that makes her flinch a lot. Taking a deep breath, Penelope lays on the bed again and makes sure not to move it again. She probably got this injury when they jumped off the cliff. 

Right!

While being careful not to move her left leg again, Penelope looks around to find Marilyn. But to her dismay, there are no other people inside this mysterious room aside from her. Penelope frowns while observing their surroundings.

The room is so dark and the only thing that gives light inside of it are the white candles placed on the table. The bed where she's laying has fresh bedsheets and pillowcases. There are only a few decorations inside the room too. But something is making her feel irritated right now.
