Chapter 3

Still in flashback

As soon as I heard those footsteps I quickly located a convenient store and went in. I pretended to browse through stuff and sneaking glance at the window to see if he left. He haven't not long after it started raining hardThen a woman walked over and asked "hello sweetheart, are you okay? Where are your parents?" Tears finally escaped. She lead me to a chair and comfort me while I tell her my story. Not long after the rain stopped, we went to her house and she pretty much raised me. On my 15th birthday day she told me that she work in part of the fashion industry and say she want to introduce me to the boss. At first I started with modeling then acting and that brings me to where I am today.

Present

-6:00am-

"Amaria, honey wake up you have to meet an important client at 7:30." Lucy shook me hard enough to wake me up. "I'm going." I yawned. I pick myself off the bed and get ready I put on a cute casual business outfit along with my mask and sunglasses . I walk out to see Lucy already finished breakfast and offered me to eat but I got no appetite. We walk out of the elevator and I can sense something is following me I looked over Lucy who was behind me and BAM! I fell backwards as I bumped into a tall dark figure. Before I could reach the ground something grab my wrist and held me by the waist. I slowly open my eyes and "woah, daddy." He gave me a cold confused look and I realized I said it out loud. "Watch were you're going" he said with a low deep voice. I nod and I quickly jump out of his hold watching him walks away. I turn my head to see Lucy snickers trying to hold back her laugh but couldn't. I was so embarrassed and couldn't help but laugh with her. To hide my embarrassment I covered my face.
