6 Chapter-6

My whole days were running smoothly. I do have to work but it was overall nice. For today I am done with my shift in the hospital. I have alredy helped in three deliveries and when I held those babies in my arm it felt so good. The wonder of being a mother is immeasurable. Sometimes I come across the cases where the females want to be a mother but can't and in some cases they don't want it. In maximum of the cases I suggest them either to go for adoption or surrogacy and I feel happy when some couples to go through adoption. Our technology has increased this much that it is possible for the couple to have a baby but it depends upon them what they actually want.

After my shift I was called by Scarlet and Mason to join them for the lunch but I don't want to be a third wheel. So I left the hospital and went to the nearby restaurants who serves the best pasta and coffee. When I entered the hospital it was full as usual but I am their regular customer so they have already reserved a VIP room for me. As I was about to enter the room someone held my hand and when I turned back I saw it was none other than the owner of those black eyes. I tried to pry was hand but it was held in his tight grip and was of no use. I gave up and looked at his face and saw his face was covered with pain. He took the lead and brought me inside the VIP but it was at a different place and was much better than mine.

The room was much bigger and decorated with valuables. He then took me to the seats and made me sit down on the saet . These seats were the same mine but more comfortable. Then he sat down beside me and held my hands in his warm hands. The whole time I was looking down. The he brought his hand up to my face and traced his hand at the place where I had hit myself. His eyes held pain for me. His emotions were confusing me and I didn't know how to face him and then in his soft but firm voice he said

"Princess, I am sorry. I was all my fault. I shouldn't have treated you like that. I should have given you some time. But I don't know that the moment I saw you I was afraid that you will go away from means I don't want to lose you. I don't know how you feel but for me it is a love at first sight. The moment I saw you I knew it that it had to be you who becomes my lifeline. I know my approach towards you was not worth praising but can you please give me a chance. I want to get to know you and make you fall in love with me because I am already in love with you. These days I have not been able to get a nice sleep because you are the one who is dominating my dreams. I will never force you to do something which you will never like.So can you please consider this. I know you are presently in a relationship. So will you?"

.After listening to his words I was shocked. He also felt the same as me. I don't know why but my heart wants to believe him and wants to give him a chance. I looked at him and said

"Look David I don't know you. I don't know what you do, what are your likes, dislikes,etc. So please give me some time. And to tell you the truth I also feel the same about you. I don't know what emotions I am feeling but they are very foreign to me. So I hope you will understand."

After hearing me David chuckled and said

"Princess ,I thought that you will not give me a chance but now I am happy to know that you are giving me a chance. I will cherish this and will never disappoint you." and then he looked at me lovingly and asked me

"Princess can I hug you ?"

But I didn't nod and just went ahead to hug him. He was surprised at first but then calmed down and hugged me back and kissed the top of my head and said

"Thank you."

But then I realised that I heard him saying 'I Love you' but then I thought that this might be my illusion as I deep in my heart wants him to say that to me but I know that this is too sudden.
