Chapter 3

Lilith's POV

"Okay, so the rules of the game are simple if the bottle lands between two people, the one that has the top pointed to them is getting dared by the one that has the bottom turned towards them," Aiden explains

"Okay seems pretty simple."

"But when the bottle lands between the two people they have to take a shot and remove one item of clothing of their choice."

Okay, I was not expecting that but at least it adds some excitement to this boring game.

Aiden's stats to spin the bottle and three games in it still have not landed on me.

He spins it again and it lands between me and Aiden. The top is facing me so it means it's my turn to get dared.

"Cool. I dare you to kiss me."

"No thank you, that mouth has been on everyone and everything tonight pick someone else."

"Okay, I dare you to kiss my boy Hunter over here." He hits Hunter on his back slightly.

Hunter looks up to meet my gaze and I feel my toes tingle.

"Okay." I take off my shirt and remain with my bra, skirt, socks, and shoes. I take a shot and stand up to go kiss Hunter and he does the same.

There was a bit of awkwardness before we initiated the kiss but soon after it felt natural. I felt my stomach flutter with butterflies and my heartbeat, rapidly increased. My hands instinctively reached out to the back of his neck and combed through his hair with my fingers.

His hands reached for my lower back and pressed me to flush against his chest till there was no space between us and only the small bit of fabric of my bra separating us. Our breaths became rhythmic. My eyes were shut tightly letting my hands explore every inch of him.

We were stopped by Aiden. "Okay, okay we get it you can stop now." We both end the kiss but are still in each other's arms. We look at Aiden and everyone else in the room was staring at us.

I looked at Hunter and quickly separated myself from him. I took my shirt and dragged Ann out towards the car.

"Wait, Lily! could you slow down!!" Ann screams at me.

"Listen we came to the party and now it's time to go."

"Why were we where all having fun, is it because of your kiss with Hunter, I'm sure it meant nothing."

"Well I felt something and that's all that matters, now can we go please."

"Listen to me, Hunter has a bad reputation, he is known for breaking hearts, sleeping with girls, and leaving them immediately after so trust me when I tell you it most probably meant nothing to him and it should mean nothing to you too. I mean, after all, it was just a game."

"Don't you think I know that, I've been around Hunter's type for far too long that I can spot them from a mile away and I honestly don't want to be another girl on his hit list that he will use for his pleasure and discard me right after scratching my name out of his hit list and moving on to his next victim?"

I take a deep breath and run my fingers through my hair. "What I'm saying is that I've been in way worse situations as my family has moved around a lot for business and stuff. So I was kinda hoping to end my popular cheerleader captain streak and focus on myself for once instead of a boy or if my outfit is sexy enough. I appreciate the outfit you picked out for me today but I don't want to be that girl anymore I've been that girl for way too long and I would love to be class president or student body president or in the student council, I would love to do something beneficial to me instead and not my so-called friends or peers."

"I get that honestly speaking but for someone like me, someone who has never been noticed by a single guy their entire life. I would like to experience that life. I would like to spend my last year in this god-forsaken school by leaving a mark and being remembered when we have our reunion in the next 10 years or so."

"Ann there are so many ways to leave a mark either than increasing your body count or being cheerleading captain or even prom queen. I've been at this school for one day and I am hundred percent sure you are the only person in this school with a pure heart and pure intentions. I see you as a very beautiful girl and fuck all of those that are to tell me otherwise. You are smart, pretty, kind-hearted and probably going to be president one day."

We laugh and we both wipe away the tears that are now falling from our eyes. Ann is a lovely person and I believe me and her are going to develop a very powerful friendship and probably rule the world one day.

"Let's go, I'll drive." Ann passes me her keys and we get into the car and drive off.

"Let's go to my house, you can sleep over and go to school together tomorrow," Ann says.

"Umm I don't think I will be going to school tomorrow but I can ask my parents if it's okay with yours of course."

"It's cool my parents are separated and my mom is gone for business while my dad lives on the other side of town, so I'm home alone."

"Okay cool," I call my mom to let her know and she talks to Ann to confirm.

"So what about clothes?"

"It's okay you can borrow mine unless you want us to stop by your house first."

"Yeah let's do that."

"Cool, I'm excited to see where you live especially since I fetched you at the mall today when I was supposed to fetch you at your house."

I laugh a bit. "My house is nothing much trust me."
