63 First ray of hope

Vaidehi wiped tears from the back of her hand and looked up. She froze when she was the pair of twinkling hazel green eyes looking at her with so much excitement and hope.

The look on Lilly's face pulled a few strings of her heart.

No matter how wrong Damien did to her , but what was this little girl's fault? Why is she to be punished for the mistakes her father made?

And it was Damien's fault that he had hidden such a big thing from her, not this little girl.

Vaidehi was in a dilemma. She didn't have the heart to break the hope and excitement in Lilly's eyes.
