Chapter 30 Familiar

There was silence between them after Rachel asked him the question, she saw him contemplating whether or not to tell her "You don't have to tell me if you don't wish to, I just wanted to know a little about you" she said plainly, turning her face away from him.

"No no, don't misunderstand, I just.. Oh fine I'll tell you" he said smiling at her. She could sense he didn't want to reveal too much about his past. Rachel then confirmed there was some mystery surrounding him, but she didn't want to push too hard. "It okay if you're not comfortable"

He was silent for some time with his head bowed down. He was deep in thought . After a few seconds he raised his head up and began. "I am an orphan, well I have been alone since I was 8, I lost my parents and my clans man in a war between two races.

"A war" she asked, "what kind of war, why didn't I hear of such" she asked curiously she forgot she was talking to a stranger.
