1 The beginning

People always say chase your dreams, but what if your dream is to die? Then what?

I'm Lacy. I'm a twin. My sister Kara, who is older than me by 30 seconds. She is prettier than me. Her long blonde hair, those perfect ocean blue eyes. Every guy wants her. Then there is me. Brown hair, huge nerd. People say I look like my dad. I barely knew my dad. He died when I was younger. He was murdered. After living at the lake house for 7 years, we finally get to go to high school. Guess who with? Rich assholes, who only go to school because they need something to do in their free time. Kara is a popular girl. I'm a nerd. I sit with people who I call my friends. Unlike Kara, I'm not fake and flaunt the idea that our sister Rose and her husband Ethan are rich. I keep to myself most of the time.

The first year as a freshman, I met Carla, tony, lily, and Jaren. They have been my friends for 3 years. It's the start of senior year. Nobody really cares about me, they prefer Kara over me. Kara's boyfriend is a dickhead and everyone swoons over him. Eye Roller. He's a player who flirts with everyone. Maybe he's cheating on her, wouldn't be the first time. I walk into the cafeteria and sit with my friend near the back. Jaren hugs me and I sit down. "How was summer guys?" I ask in a shy tone. "I fucked the second hottest guy in the school this summer!" Carla says squealing with lily. I smile and giggle. Tony comes up behind me but before he can do anything I grab his arm and twist it, making him tap out. "Hey, tones!" I say chuckling slightly. "Damn lacy go easy on me," He says smirking a bit and I wink at him "Never in a million years!" I say laughing.

Kara and her bitchy ass boyfriend Lukas come in and everyone stares at them. Ugh! I'm fucking tired of the whole school bowing down to them! I roll my eyes. "Lacy? Aren't you going to eat anything?" Lily asks. I shrug. "I'm not really hungry," I say in a quiet voice. The girls grin evilly before standing me up and pushing me to go get food. I bump into something, which I assume is the wall, guess I was wrong. It's the bad boy of the school. Tyler! Fucking Tyler! "Sorry," I say and I hear a slight chuckle. I look up at him. "Well aren't you just the cutest little thing ever?" He says chuckling.

"Sorry Tyler," I say again. "It's alright Lacy. But watch where you're going." He says in a harsh tone. Which makes me want to disappear. Everyone is staring at us and I hate attention! I slowly back away and run out of the cafeteria. I run to my locker and grab my inhaler, I take a few breaths. I feel someone wrap their arms around me and I grab their arm and flip them on their back. I look down and see Tyler!

WHAT THE HELL IS IT WITH THIS GUY! He stares at me dumbfounded. "I'm sorry. Y-you s-scared me." I stutter. He gets up and looks down at me. God, he's fucking tall and hot! Omg shut up head! "Jesus Lacy. You're one strong girl." He says looking deep into my eyes. "Well, you shouldn't sneak up on a girl!" I snap at him. He looks taken back and then pushes me against the lockers. God his cologne smells so good. I want to kiss him. Oh my lord, what am I saying....the only word  that comes out is "Damn." He looks at me and smirks. "Like what you see?" He asks. "Yes. I mean n-no!" I stutter. "I'm sorry but can you back away please I don't like people too close to me..." I keep stuttering. Kara comes over to me and Tyler and he leaves as Kara rolls her eyes at him.

"What's with you two?" She says in her bitchy tone. "Nothing I just accidentally bumped into him," I say. "Sorry but your bf seems to want you back over there sucking his face," I say in a bitchy tone. She stares at me and then walks away. She may be my sister but she pisses me off sometimes. Tony, lily, Carla, and Jaren come over. Jaren holds my things. I take them. "Thanks, Jaren!" I say hugging him. He's one of the best guy friends ever. "Girl, you and Tyler should date!" Carla says and I get my inhaler back out, taking a few more deep breathes. "I'm sorry, but no! He's the bad boy and I've heard he's in a gang." I say looking at them all. Jaren has hurt in his eyes by Carla's comment. "We still on for this weekend?" I ask trying to change the subject. "Yes!" They all say. I grab a few books from my locker and head to class with Jaren and lily. We walk in the classroom, Kara and Lukas are sucking face at a desk and I want to puke. The bell rings and I sit near lily and Jaren. The teacher starts teaching and I zone out. Until the door flies open and Tyler walks in. All the girls stare at him and I just ignore him. The bell rings and I run to my locker grabbing my keys to my car. I put the books I don't need back in my locker.

I walk out of the school to my car and see Tyler leaning against it. I sigh and head over to my car. "Can I help you, Dawson?" I ask a little annoyed. "Woah calm down baby girl." He says innocently. I roll my eyes. "Sorry, but I need to get going," I say opening my car door. He opens the passenger and gets in. Are you fucking kidding me? I get in and glare at him. "What the fuck do you want Tyler!?" I snap at him getting more annoyed than usual. "Easy. I want to go with you." He says shrugging ignoring how I snapped at him. "Fine. Whatever." I say and speed out of the school parking lot.
