After I was cleaned up José and I sat down by a small table in the room. He handed me the small black zip lock bag which had Bobby's belongings. I was hesitant to open it but there was no point in being scared. 

The first thing I saw was Bobby's straw hat that had blood on one side. Just the sight of it made my face burn hot as I felt the tears well in my eyes again. I took it out then gently placed it on the table, his cracked sunglasses were what followed and his phone that was painfully shattered. On the screen it still had my contact as it was frozen. 

After that was his wallet that only had his driver's license, a picture of our baby, one of us together and a ten dollar bill. He did not even take bank cards with him. In all this mess I could not help but chuckle as I wiped away my tears, "he only had ten dollars. He was still stingy."

That made José give me a sad smile, "in true Bobby fashion."
