Dinner was prepared by some of the best chefs in Berlin. Everyone's course was different and I, of course, adored a chunk of steak. Waiters constantly came in and out to top up on everyone's alcohol which really added a very lively feel to the room once everyone had a little bit of alcohol in their systems. 

I could see why Benedito allowed me to drink beer tonight. It definitely got me out of my shell once my body started warming up and I got comfortable with the idea of enjoying dinner with his friends. 

"So Billie, I hear you are a bull rider," Lucas smiled before he took a sip of his wine. 

The more I heard him speak the more I realized he had a voice that sounded like someone who had licked an ashtray which blended perfectly with his French accent. It was raspy and hoarse, I had already seen him smoke two cigarettes which explained his voice.
