“Do you think this is enough to make my father’s new will legal, Mr. Johnston…?”

Claire asked while she kneaded her fingers on her lap, feeling nervous. Mr. Waller Johnston was checking her father’s handwriting so thoroughly.

“Yes, I think this is legit… Your father signed this with a legal stamp.--” He looked up at Claire for a second before putting the paper down.

“--I think your father didn’t get the time to contact me,”

“Yes, I thought so too…” Claire said softly, looking down.

“Do you want me to process this?” He said after a while.

“Yes, please…--” Claire let out a weak smile.

“--Mr. Johnston, I’ve been told that you have my divorce papers too…?”

Mr. Johnston looked like he was a bit surprised by her question. Claire didn’t know why.

“Yes, I have it.--Do you want to–”

“Yes… I think I may just finish everything today,” Claire said with a quiet sigh.
