189 THE PROPOSAL

The murmur in the throne room grew louder. I had no doubt they were wondering what I was doing protecting a maidservant. They were all expecting me to take the side of the prince but instead here I was threatening to cut of the arms of the prince's guards all because of a maidservant.

I cocked my head slightly at Kiran who was still beside Yasmin. "You should get her to her room Kiran, I will deal with this." I said not taking my eyes off the young prince who was fuming in anger.

"What?" The prince gasped. "She can't leave! She needs to serve her punishment!"

"Your problem is with me, prince.

The prince scoffed at me. "You don't even know who I am do vou?"

I gave an amuse smirk at him. "I'm sorry but trying to keep up with insolent children isn't exactly my thing."

"Then you should know my father!" The prince's nostrils flared in anger.

"No, I don't." I told him feeling unapologetic.
