She had just lost interest in continuing the conversation with Angela.

Gloria curled her lips. It had upset her to see her enemy living with no pressure.

Because of the things she had done, Angela had been summoned by the police many times. It had made her panic and depressed, so Gloria didn't believe Claude would tell his daughter about it. Angela was in the dark and living in peace, which was not what Gloria wanted. She would like to see her cousin suffer.

Just then, her phone rang again. She thought that it was Angela again but saw Jonathan's number on the screen.

She picked up the phone but remained silent.

Jonathan's soft voice came. "How is your trip?"

"Good," Gloria replied in a bland tone, as usual.
