Jordy found him wordless.

He could understand why she had turned Nydia down.

Strangely, Jonathan’s name came to his mind all of a sudden.

Jordy wanted to ask, but...

Gloria sensed his hesitation.

So she spoke for him.

"Jordy, if you have anything you want to tell me, just say it. Don’t be so hesitant."

Since he had been spotted, Jordy found no reason to hesitate anymore.

"Did you turn down Jonathan’s offer to help too?" he compressed his lips.

"Yes, I did."

She had no idea why Jordy had brought Jonathan up, but she still replied to him.

She didn’t need Jonathan’s help.

Jordy was silent again.

But the silence only last for seconds before he spoke to Gloria, "If you don’t want other people’s help, accept mine."

Jordy’s tone was softer than before.
