71 Chapter 69

Sleeping in the same room as Panda King feels different. It's different from all the times in the past when I was "Tin" and it's different from the night at the island. 

My nerves are everywhere as he wraps his arm around me and hugs me to him as I lie on my side. Cub is sleeping in his Moses basket which my father already prepared for him. I am surprised how easily my dad accepted my baby and Panda. I thought he would continue with his cold, stern father charade for longer.

"You're not asleep yet are you?" He asks quietly.

I close my eyes and pretend to sleep. I feel him moving his body even closer, his warmth against my back.

"I know you can't sleep." He whispers into my ear, causing my body to shiver. I try to stay still but he gently turns me over until we are facing each other.

"Open your eyes or I will kiss you." He teases. Damn it!

Not even giving me time to react, he pulls me to him and sucks on my bottom lip. I can't help moaning as he continues to kiss me harder and more deeply.

"W...wait." I pant in between the kiss. "Y...you'll wake...baby..." He didn't give me time to breathe so I am breathless right now.

"Shhhh. Our baby won't mind." He whispers, seductively staring at my lips again. I can feel my entire body heating up by his stare.

"You're so bad." I mutter before he dives for my lips again. Our tongues dance together inside my mouth as he flips me over onto my back. He towers over me, his hands traveling all over my body, making me moan again.

"Let's give our Cub a sibling." He smiles as he leaves a trail of kisses down my neck. His hands lift up the bottom of my pyjama top and he slides it off me. He starts kissing down my body, my skin burning under each place he touches.

He takes his shirt off too, throwing it onto the floor as he kisses me nonstop. He hesitates a little as he gently touches the scar from the surgery before softly kissing it.

As his fingers hook onto the edge of my shorts, I swallow nervously. Does he want to...

"W-wait, hold on." I say quickly. I don't have any form of protection with me for this. If we do it, Cub may have a sibling who isn't much younger than himself.

"What is it? Are you scared love?" He asks gently, moving his hands away.

"I...don't have a condom for you..." I admit with my face hot.

"If you're not ready, I will wait for you love." Panda says softly.

I smile. This is the Panda I love. "Let's wait until we're married." I say.

Panda strokes my hair, "Okay love." He lies down beside me again and hugs me. "But I can kiss you for now right?"

"Of course." 

He doesn't waste any time making me breathless again.

To my astonishment, Mrs King seems to have had an entire change of heart after being almost shocked to death by Ciarra Lake's scandal. According to Panda, she is happy to accept anyone who is the complete opposite of Ciarra which of course makes me very suitable. 

It only took a day for Panda to get the response from her. His father accepted me too and is eager to meet his grandson.

"Shall we get married tomorrow?" Panda says eagerly as he hugs me.

"You'll need to invite all your famous people." Mint says as he passes by the room, "Please close the door, my eyes are ruined." He adds.

"Ignore him." I mutter to Panda.

Panda chuckles, "Your brother has quite the character. Of course I expected no less from your family. No wonder Liana was annoyed every time she visited."

"How is she?" I ask. I haven't contacted Liana since I came out of the hospital.

"She is fine. Seems like she has moved on from you and has eyes only for her new crush." He says in a teasing tone.

"Who is it?" I ask curiously. I am glad Liana has let me go. It would only leave her heartbroken if she didn't.

"Guess. I was shocked when she admitted to it. I was against it at first but he doesn't seem like such a bad guy anymore."

"I know him?" I ask in wonder.

"Yes." Panda grins.

"Hmm, someone I know..." I mutter to myself as I think. "Can't you just tell me?" I whine when I can't think of anyone.

"It won't be fun if I do." Panda is having a lot of fun with this guessing game.

"Don't tell me..." I say slowly, "...is it Mint?!"

He laughs aloud, "Those two will probably pull out each other's teeth and kill each other before that."

I pout, "Tell me then?"

"Fine." He turns me around and smiles, "Prepare yourself love."

"Just say it. I'm dying of curiosity here."

"Bull."

"Huh?" I say in confusion, "What?"

"Bull. Your friend." He explains slowly.

As I understand, my eyes widen. How and when did she start liking Hans?!

"You're pulling my leg right?" I laugh, "There's no way..."

Panda shakes his head, "I had the same reaction when I saw her talking to him. Apparently he helped her fix her car when she had a puncture and my sister really fell for him."

I have been keeping a distance from Hans since I came back from the hospital but I will be glad when we can return to being normal friends again instead of having this awkward atmosphere around us. Hans is a good guy and Liana would be perfect for him.

"Let's help them." I grin.

"How?"

"Leave that to me." I smile. I have more than a hundred ways to help their relationship develop.

"Rather than that, have you decided when you will come with me to choose your wedding dress?" He says, nibbling on my ear.

"Tomorrow. But you can't peek at the dress before the day." I warn.
