The Tea Party

▪Logan pov▪

As the warm sunlight filed in through the open window, indicating that it was now midday, I stood infront of my wardrobe, half of it's contents lying on the wooden floor.

I could nothing good enough to wear. Finally, after emptying another quarter of my wardrobe, I found something suitable to wear - it didn't look as good as I'd wanted but - I wore it as there was only one hour left till the teaparty started, and I had to be there to welcome the guests.

Stepping infront of the mirror, I looked at my reflection. I was wearing a grey suit with a red cape on my back. A scabbard attached to the belt with a sword in it.

I stepped out of my room, walking through the corridor, I reached the doors leading to the garden, went outside and stood next to my mother, greeting the early guests.

The guests to arrive were Mrs. Stark and her only daughter, Grace. Grace is always praised about her beauty and elegance by others, but I just think that she's annoying.

" Logan, why don't you show Miss Grace to the children's area while we wait for the other guests?" My mother asked, a sweet smile plastered on her face.

"of course, follow me Moss Grace," I said, turning on my heel and walking to where the children's area was.

The childrens area was a huge square with white fence-like walls and a roof to give shade from the oppressive sunlight. There were four circle tables in each corner and one big table in the very centre. The tables all had a white cloth covering them, while the bigger table was covered in a bright yellow cloth. The tables each had about three teapots and twelve teacups. The bigger table was laden with cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and biscuits. There were long thin vines covering the walls with yellow roses poking out everywhere around them.

"Wow, your highness, it's so pretty here!" Grace exclamed from my left.

"You may take a seat, Miss Grace, I will be right back." I said turningon my heal and walking back to where my mother.

In a few minutes, the second highest dutchess arrived and behind her was my sweet little holly.

"Logan-" My mother had started speaking but I talked over her.

"Come, Miss Holly, I'll lead you to the children's area!" I said, my voice laced with enthusiasm. Holding Holly's hand, I pulled her away from our mothers.

A little way there I asked- " How are you, Miss Holly?"

"I'm fine, your highness." She answered quietly, looking at the ground as she walked.

"Please don't call me by my position, it feels odd, you are alowd to call me by my name." I said, looking at her with a big grin on my face. I probably looked like a lovesick puppy.

"Understood, Prince Logan." She said, still looking at the ground.

It wasn't exactly what I'd wanted, but atleast she called me by my name.
