Chapter 9

Laxus pov

I feel bad that I left her alone out there at our table. Lucy's going to really appreciate the real food that she's about to receive which will hopefully make it all worth it in the end. I got her truffle fries, biscuits, two burgers, salmon with a plantation iced tea. I got myself a beer while I'm still here I might as well. I asked a really nice waiter to help me carry the food and she kindly obliged and I tipped her generously for it, Together we headed back to the table our hands full. When we are close enough where I can see her I realize something she's not alone there is a guy who is talking to Lucy. She does not look happy to me she actually looks kind of scared.

I start to head faster to our table without dropping any of the food on the way there. The guy spots me then leans into Lucy probably just to spite me even though he saw me I know he did. He gives her a kiss and to my surprise on the lips which to her credit she tries to push away from but is really struggling to. Before I can think about what I'm doing I have him by the collar. He is slammed against the wall with me in his face. "who do you think you are?" I growl at him barely raising my voice but it scares the shit outta him I can tell.

"I'm blondes boyfriend we had a great time the other night, didn't we?" He winks at her while she shivers in reaction and not the good kind of shivers. When I hear this I am livid that he even thought to lay hands on her. It's wrong on multiple levels and I can't let him do this to anyone else either. All I can see is red and no one can stop me for what I'm about to do to him and I'm gonna mess him up hard.

I ready my fist and punch him square in the jaw as I hear a sickening crunch it was only going to be one but I'm really enjoying this. I do it over and over again liking the power of it and how it makes me feel. He spits out blood and that dumbass opens his mouth again to speak and what comes out of it is not at all good. "Whatever you can have her she's just a slut anyway who just what's sex and nothing else. I already enjoyed her tight pussy for myself but don't actually like her like the dumb bitch thought."

I aim for his ribs this time and go to charge at him again and the sound the comes out of my mouth sounds guttural and not even human. I think I hear a crack there too but can't be sure since I'm not even focused on that. I just want him to feel half the pain that he put Lucy through for all those years. I don't know him but there's something not right about him and I have no intention of stopping.

That is until I hear a voice that sounds like Lucy say "Laxus please stop." I turned to her and see her covering her mouth with her hands tears coming down her face. I can't stand to see her like that I know that the cause of it. I stop just for her and let her pull me back when she grabs my forearm. "Let's get out of here" I say gruffly pulling her with me. I call over my shoulder "and get this piece of shit out of here and where he belongs in jail." I make sure she is safely buckled in before speeding off.

My knuckles are white with how hard I am gripping the steering wheel while driving. Im speeding and definitely breaking a couple laws but I honestly couldn't care less at this point. When I drive up to the house without really meaning to I slam on the brakes and put the car into park as I stop kind of abruptly and hop out. I don't even wait for Lucy and slammed the door behind me I am livid right now and need some sort of cool down.

Woah what happened there?

Who is that guy?

Why was Lucy so afraid?

So what anime do you all think that is? Ok so the one thing about me is that I love the ocean more then anything I go almost everyday I'm happy in any body of water but I prefer the ocean. I learned to swim at a very young age I think I learned to swim even before I could walk fully I like to think that I'm part fish or something because I didn't drown.
