CHAPTER 18: Black Clouds

"Wake up Lily."

Jade slightly knocked on my door, then walked into my room to wake me up, in the morning, for my college.

"Wake up or you'll get late for sure."

"I don't want to."

"Don't be lazy Lily."

"But I am proud of it," I said while pulling the sheet from my feet towards my face, to cover it.

The sunlight was shining brightly on my face, through the window and it hurt my sleepy eyes.

"If you don't get up, you won't be able to taste your mom's pancakes."

"There are pancakes for breakfast?" I sat up as soon as I heard those words.

"Yes, there are, but there won't be any left for you if you don't come down soon."

"I am coming down in a minute just let me get fresh."

"Good girl, now get ready."
