CHAPTER 15: Exposure

"HEYY!" I said in response to their tight hugging, barely breathing.

After about 30 seconds, they finally let me go and I took deep breaths.

"How are you feeling now? Are you ok?" the boy asked me generously.

"Yeah, Lily, we were so worried about you. Are you ok?" the girl said while holding my hands in hers.

Chris got out of the car to handover me my home-prepared lunch.

"Hey George and Emily. How is your aunt doing?" Chris greeted them kindly while giving me my lunch.

"Our aunt's doing better now, thank you for asking," both replied together.

It was actually weird to hear them.

"I'll drop by her on my way back; you guys have fun and please take good care of Lily. She is still not fully recovered," Chris said as she got back in the car and drove out of the parking lot.

Assuming that the girl was Emily and the boy was George, I asked, "What has happened to your aunt?"

"You don't remember?" Emily said as we walked towards the entrance.
