RAP MUSIC

Illegal activity back in the day. Rap music was created and developed only due to colored people from very very poor neighbourhoods. I can't state that those who commenced rapping in the 70s were from such neighborhoods, but those who were pushing hip-hop music forward in the late 80s and 90s were those guys that are used to having troubles with the law. Everything was because of their lives, which were full of crime and violence around them. No father, one mother who cares about several children and work on full every day til' the night, dozens of time spent in the block, absorbing street knowledge. And, of course, some rappers were forced to violate the law, sell drugs and many of them were involved into robberies, gangbanging and other stuff, as they seeked ways to survive. There were no chances to enroll to the university, because there was no money. Schools they attended were full of such ones like them, youngsters.

Beefs with other rappers. It's not actually a darkest secret, because beefs were something that drove rap music forrward back in the day. People admired watching how the beef was developing, what this rapper say and what another one answers. Unfortunately, many of such beefs ended up tragically, for instance, 2Pac murder, even though it's not confirmed yet that the kill order came from the Biggie. The Biggie was also killed later as a kind of revenge for potential Pac's murder.

Dissolute lifestyle with substances, hookers and other terrible things. I can't state that it's something secret because journalists quickly disclose this information and bring it into masses. But back in the day, it was way harder to reveal such kind of information because of technical underdevelopment. For instance, Eazy-E was infected with the AIDS exactly because of his dissolute lifestyle, even though it's not also proved yet.

I suppose you realized that their lives, despite the fact it's depicted on the TV or in the net, wasn't full of happiness. Majority of them was forced to pass through such hardships, which you can't even imagine.

Things end. People leave. And you know what? Life goes on. Besides, if bad things didn’t happen, how would you be able to feel the good ones?
