1 Prologue

At a small bar in the center of New York, two young men sat at a four-seater table.

"Why no suit, Ted! I told you to suit up!" a blonde young man wearing an elegant black suit called at a dark-haired young man who was wearing a gray broken stripes sweater and a pair of jeans. "Why do you never suit up when I tell you to suit up?!"

"Oh, come on, Barney, just get this over with; I have a date to get to," Ted answered him monotonically, obviously not taking him seriously.

"Fine, but next time I say suit up, PROMISE me that you will suit up!" Barney looked at him exasperatedly, clearly disappointed at his friend's behavior.

"Fine, next time I promise to suit up," Ted sighed as he kept giving long looks at a clock that hung on the wall next to them.

Barney looked at him for a few seconds, "I don't believe you," he said, "swear to it."

"Oh, come on, Barney, what's the big deal? It's just a suit..." Ted looked at him for only a second before returning to the clock. But Barney seemed like he had been punched in the guts.

"Just a suit?! Just a Suit?!?!" He stood up indignantly and looked at Ted. "It's like I don't even know you!" And before Ted could say anything else, Barney turned around and left the bar, stomping on the ground angrily every few steps.

Ted looked at his back and then at the clock. 'He will be fine...' he thought, before leaving as well. He wasn't even sure what he was doing there in the first place...

'Just a suit?! How can he be serious, to say that this magnificent, miraculous piece of fabric. Is just a suit?!' Wandering the bustling streets of New York, Barney couldn't help but wonder what to do next. He was planning on having a bro-night at the bar, but now his plans were ruined.

Looking at the many lights, an evil smirk rose to his lips. 'What trick should I use tonight...'

Only then, out of nowhere, a flyer blown by some wind got stuck to his face, almost making him fall. Picking it up, his smirk became a wild smile. "Bingo!"

Only an hour later that night, Barney was now standing at the entrance of a new club in town, 'Club Wrath and Goth.' Barney was wearing the same suit, but he used some fake blood to paint the edges of his lips and added some specially made teeth that he ordered for a costume once.

Walking towards the entrance, he was almost immediately stopped by the selector, an overgrown African-American with hands almost as thick as Barney's torso.

"No skipping the line!" he gave Barney a glare, who in turn looked to his side, only to notice that he actually overlooked a line of over 30 people dressed in all black, all giving him weird stares that looked more bored than angry.

Thinking on his feet, Barney took out a 50 and tried to shake the selector's hand, only he accidentally slipped, and his head hit the selector's chest; the 50 fell out of his hand and dropped into a nearby drain hole.

He was about to stand up when the selector suddenly grabbed his shoulders and lifted him. "You think you can take me on, pretty boy?" The selector apparently took Barney's fall as an attempt to catch him unprepared. "Big mistake, pretty boy, big mistake."

'Fuck me.' Barney didn't even have time to speak before the selector threw him like he was a pillow onto the pavement.

Barney felt like he broke his hand; he was about to get up but before he could, the selector neared him again. "No one messes with The Wall!" he yelled at him before he sent a punch towards his face.

"Enough!"

Barney shut his eyes tight, awaiting the pain when a female voice was heard behind the selector, bringing him to a sudden halt. The woman neared the selector and smiled at him, and then at Barney.

"He is cute. Let him in," she said as she turned back to the selector. The selector let out a sad sigh and walked back to his chair. "Don't worry, Wally; you will get them next time!" the woman called at his back, a cheerful smile on her face.

Meanwhile, Barney could only stare at his savior. 'Mmm...mmm...mmm...' The thoughts in his head became uncontrollable the moment he saw her. If every woman he ever saw was scaled from one to ten, then this one would be a 100. She was that beautiful.

With the darkest black hair that he had ever seen, a perfectly symmetrical face with only a single beauty mark under her left eye that augmented her shiny gray-colored eyes. She had a perfect hourglass figure, bountiful in all the right places, with a tight black close-fitting dress that stuck to her like a second skin. Only her complexion seemed quite pale, but coupled with all the other aspects, it only made her look more perfect.

Barney just followed her, like a dog led by a bone, until he reached the backroom of the bar and sat on the sofa. Only then did his mind suddenly become clearer.

'H... How the fuck did I get here?!?!' he thought in a panic as he looked around at the dimly lit room that was illuminated in blacklight. It was a small room, 4m by 4m, with only a black leather sofa surrounding the empty center of the room. Around him sat three other men, each with a woman in lingerie kissing their neck.

If not for his earlier disorientation, he might have actually willingly joined such an activity, but with the current situation, he couldn't bring himself to be excited.

He was about to get up and leave when the door suddenly opened, revealing the woman he saw before. 'She really is beautiful,' Barney thought as he checked her figure. Only now his brain didn't shut down at the sight of her; something was weird, even if she was super hot. It wasn't like him. He wouldn't act like that.

"What is your name, cutie?" the woman neared him as she seductively licked her upper lip, making him gulp a little.

"Ja-" Thinking for less than a second, Barney opened his mouth, but the woman stopped with her finger.

"I can tell when you are lying," she said, the smile on her face never fading.

Barney was just about to start a fight to persuade her, but she suddenly licked his face.

"Ahee," he let out a surprised and confused yelp, looking at her as if he had seen a ghost.

Barney was a little torn inside; he wanted to do her, but at the same time, he didn't want to let her do him.

"I'll ask one last time, what's your name?" she said, a little intensely this time.

Barney, thinking it was just some weird kind, decided to try and make his own rules.

"I'm Bracula, count of-" but before he could continue, the smile on the woman's face disappeared, and her brows frowned.

"I told you to say the truth!" she called at him angrily before she went for his throat with her teeth, he was about to tell her that she was being too intense, but suddenly, real pain assaulted him as she brutally chewed on his neck like some sort of animal.

'Wtf, wtf, what the heck is this crazy person doing to me?!'

Barney couldn't speak at all; his throat was burning, and he felt the strength leave his body as he was rapidly drained of his blood.

'This isn't happening, this is insane; it must be some messed-up dream!' He kept on trying to convince himself as he got weaker by the second. Around him, he could also see the dead bodies of the three men, who were already drained.

'Even if it's a nightmare, I must do something!' he thought, panicking. He tried to move his arms, to push her off him, but nothing worked. Then, gathering all his strength at his injured neck, Barney stuck his sharp fake vampire teeth into the woman's neck.

Not expecting the sudden attack, the woman jumped back in pain, realizing Barney. Meanwhile, he regained his strength the moment she left him, and while she was still shocked, he shot towards the door at full speed.

He ran out into a corridor before he saw a back door into some alley; leaving through it, Barney ran until he couldn't anymore and fell near a garbage can in some back street.

'Ahh, not again!'

Opening his eyes again, Barney found himself inside a pile of garbage; he was missing his pants and wallet and was only wearing his shirt that was stained with blood.

'Wait... blood?' Barney looked at his destroyed suit and tried to recall the events of last time, but everything he could remember made no sense to him. Feeling his neck, it was whole, and his hand didn't hurt either.

'What the heck happened last night?' He was about to stand up when he found his shoes were gone too, and so was his wallet.

Barney, now in a side alley, with no phone, no money, no shoes, and no pants, was thinking about what he should do next when suddenly a mechanical voice was heard.

Barney lifted his head to the clouds.

'How much did I have to drink last night?'
