Chapter 5- Love Letter

As I'm heading to the park after school I can't help but wonder who it is, and what's going to happen, it's like my heart is pounding out of my chest, and I feel like I'm going to be sick. When I got there, Sarah was on the bench, she walked up to me, "So you did get the letter" she said, "Yea" I replied, "Well then, I guess I'll get straight to the point" She continued... "I need your help" she then paused, " I like Joey and since you're friends with him, do you think you can help me try to become his girlfriend?" she asked me, and as soon as she did it felt like... my heart had stopped, it felt like I was dropped into water, drowning, "He already has one I think, plus we haven't talked in a while" I told her, " Hmmm, I suppose you're right, well then, do you think you can help me get close to him first?" she asked, " No" I told her, and when I said this it looked like, her heart had dropped, just as mine did, I then walked away, went home, and lay in bed, but suddenly my phone rang. I answered my phone, "Who is this?" I asked, "Sarah", "How'd you get my contact?" I asked..."I just asked around" she told me, kind of creepy if you ask me, "I know you said no earlier, but please, please Mal, reconsider, I really think I like him and-" I cut her off saying "Fine... I'll do it" she then cheered, and thanked me, I hung up and went to sleep.
