Chapter 8 A beautiful mistake.

When it was lunchtime, I asked Camella to accompany me to see Gabriel. I didn't want to go alone to prevent people from insinuating that we were in a relationship and all those stuff and luckily for me Camella agreed to come along.

When we entered the cafeteria, we saw Gabriel who was waving at us and we went to sit beside him.

"Do you want something to eat or drink?" He asked us as we settled on the chair and we shooked our heads.

"Okay, if you say so," He smiled "So what school do you come from?" He began.

"Drugan College."

"Really?" He asked and I could detect surprise in his tone which made me confused. Did he know my former school?

"Yes, why?" 

"No, it is just that the owner's son is my close friend," He snickered and it was my turn to get shocked. 

"You mean Nelson?" I asked and he nodded.

"Do you know him?" 

"Yeah, why won't I. Remember our grade, he was in my class and we were in the same dipo," I smiled. "So how did you guys meet?" 

"His family and mine are very close, so we started talking, at first we didn't like each other but with time we grew closer," He said and I grew very curious to know more. I wanted to know everything about Nelson since I knew he was Belinda's crush. Of course, she denies it but she couldn't hide it. I always knew that she liked him from the way she stared at him in class but I didn't want to push her to admit it.

She must have had a reason for not telling me.

Camella watched us chatting and got bored so she left. I guess she was bored since she didn't even know who we were talking about.

He continued telling me about his friendship with Nelson, how they became friends, fought over the same girl and all those stuff but after a while, he left for his class and I was left alone.

After a while of sitting still in the seat, I decided to go to the pool. I had nothing to do and that was the only thing I could do to while away time.

As I walked to the pool people still kept gazing at me; most especially the guys and I prayed for the ground to open up and swallow me. I hated all this attention!

Thankfully, It didn't take long for me to arrive at the pool. There was no single soul in the room and a wide smile crept on my face realising that. I couldn't afford to stay in a place where people's gazes would be scanning me.

I gazed around at the room and it was then that I realised that there was another door. At the initial stage, I looked way ignoring it but since I couldn't match away my curiosity I decided to go in.

Entering, I saw that there was also a pool room but it was far different from the usual one. It was decorated round and everywhere was cool like I was on a beach for real. The atmosphere alone felt so good and a wide smile crept on my face. It was way better than ours!

Without wasting any time, I hastily put off my dress, leaving only my swimsuit on my body before entering the deep and wide pool.

As the water caressed my skin, I let out a sigh. The water was so cool and warm. It felt like I was on a beach. 

I began to swim but while swimming, I heard footsteps. I turned to look and it was who I least expected... Julian?! 

'What was he doing here? And why was he awkwardly looking at me?!' I thought with a creased brow. 

I wanted to come out but my swimsuit was not a decent one, it exposed some parts of my body so I just stayed in the water at least it was covering me up.

"Please, turn around," I told him and to my surprise, he did so.

I put off my swimsuit and put on my uniform as his back faced me. Throughout the time I changed my gaze never left him. I didn't trust him at all! 

I knew he was a flirt...a bad flirt so I never let my eyes leave him. I couldn't even imagine him seeing me naked! Geez...

"Thank you, you may turn around," I told him when I was done and the first statement I heard from him was...

"You've surely grown wings," 

"How?" I asked surprised and he smirked. 

"You are swimming in my pool half-naked." He said and my eyes narrowed. 

"Your ....pool?" I stammered and he nodded. 

I bit my lower lips in the realization of what I had done.

I couldn't believe I had just done this?! I should have not come in all!

"Yes this is my pool and you just swam in it. Half naked," He sneered as he took a step forward which made me subconsciously move backwards.

"Do you know what happens to those that enter this room?" He asked as he took another step and I also took a step backwards.

"What?" I asked with fear written all over me.

"They are beaten and embarrassed real bad," He scared me like a delegate little child and It was then I realised that he was just joking. How dare he?!

"No one has dared to enter except you," He added and the lines on my forehead popped up.

"I don't care if I am the only one and you can't do anything to me," I finally gathered courage and stood firm like a protester but he didn't stop, he continued coming closer.

"Okay, then," He said and as he took a step forward I tried to push him back but instead of achieving my aim, his hand ended up on my waist as we fell into the pool.

Julian entered his pool room and saw someone swimming in it and when he moved closer, he found out that it was Jessica.

'What was she doing here?!'

He took a few steps forward and just watched her while she swam, she looked more beautiful than ever, but she turned ruining his admiration.

He gave her a questioning look and she wanted to come out but stayed for a reason he doesn't know.

"Please turn around," She told him with the sweetest voice he has ever heard and he did so realising that she was half-naked and after a while, she told him to turn back.

"You've surely grown wings," he told her and she looked at him confused.

it was then he realised that she had no clue about was she was doing.

"You're swimming in my pool, half-naked," He smirked.

"Do you know what do to people who do this?"

"I make anyone who dares to access any of my things pay," He threatened while stepping forward which made her step backwards.

Scaring her by his words she took more steps as her heartbeat thundered but she then realised that he was just making a mockery out of her and wanted to leave but she fell into the pool along with Julian who was trying to help.

"Oooh," They both breathed out.

He looked at her and his gaze fell on her chest which was exposed a little due to her wet shirt which was stuck to her body and he found himself staring but when she realised his gaze she crossed her arms around her chest trying to cover up.

"I am sorry," He said as he ran his fingers through his hair.

He came out of the pool and offered his hands to her and she reluctantly placed her hands on his, he felt her warm and soft palm against his which made his hands shiver as he brought her out.

"I will get you another uniform" He Offered when they were out of the pool.

'Huh?!! He can't what if rumours spread!!' She thought.

"Don't worry, I am fine. You only have to help me dry my uniform," She gave a faint smile.

"Leave it to me, it is my fault," He smiled

"Besides your clothes will take time to dry," He added.

He looked at her and realised that she was shivering slightly.

"Are you alright?" He said as he touched her shoulder trying to help her but she defensively removed his hands.

"I am fine."

'He's just trying to touch me, what a flirt!' She stormed inwardly.

"Come,"

"But to where?"

"Can you go to class like this? " He asked her.

"No."

"Then follow me," He said and she quietly followed him because she needed help and he took her to the healing bay "Now you know that you are safe. I will go get you another uniform just wait here," He said and then he exited the room.

The nurse gave her a hot tea which cooled her and in a short time, he was back holding a new and complete uniform set.

"Take this," He stretched it forward

"Thanks."

She went to the restroom in the bay and changed her clothes.

She packed her uniform in the bag that followed the uniform Julian gave her and came out.

"Thank you, I will be going," She said while giving him her uniform.

"And sorry for entering your pool without permission," She apologized.

"It is okay, besides you weren't aware," He smiled charmingly and that was when she gazed at his perfect face, his face was a doll and his hair was wet making him look more handsome than he usually looked. And her gaze went on to his body.....and she saw his....broad chest. it was spotless and before she knew it she was staring at it.

"Hmmm," She cleared her throat when she realised what she was doing and how his smile widened.

"I w-il-l b-e go-in-g," She stammered

but started going the wrong way and when she realised it, she smiled faintly before she finally exited the room.
