36 Chapter 36 Unforgetable

When we were out of the building, I saw a flashy car waiting for us in the compound. He led me to the car and he let his grip on my hand slide away gently as he opened the car door for me.

I made my way in, he also did so and he sat beside me in the back seat.

As the driver drove us to where he directed him to, my gaze explored everything we passed. All the places we passed were amazingly pretty and what made it prettier was the mixture of light and darkness and the peaceful silence that followed.

I looked at Julian and I found him staring at me. I looked down as my face burned red, just when the moving car stopped.

"We are here," The driver said and as I curiously peeked through the window, I saw a Ferris wheel rolling.

Wait.. were we at!

I hurriedly got out of the car to get a better view and I realised that what I was thinking of a while ago was right.

WE WERE AT THE PARK!!!

As we walked in, my gaze didn't leave the Ferris wheel, I looked at it in curiosity: as I wondered how those people riding on it will be feeling. I expected them to be scared because of how fast it was rolling but when I saw how jollily they screamed, my idea about it changed and I found myself repining to ride it.

We stopped at a cafe and Julian ordered two cups of coffee,

"Thanks," I said as it was given to me.

Then my gaze flew back to the Ferris wheel, roller coaster, samba tower rider and all other amazing things that were in the park as I imagined how sweet it would be to ride them with him. How sweet it would be to have fun with him.

How wonderful it would feel to ride all those things and scream out of joy with him!

Just when Julian grabbed my hands and headed towards where the real fun was.

He stopped in front of the Ferris wheel and smiled at me.

"You want to ride this. Am I right?" He asked as he looked down at my face and I meekly nodded: feeling kind of shy to say 'Yes'.

Then he grabbed my hands again and paid for tickets.

When we already got in and it was about to start moving, I started feeling scared so I buried my face on Julian's lap and I used my palms to cover my face.

After a little while, I gave little gaps in between my fingers to peep at his reaction and I saw him smiling as he looked down at me and he looked like he was trying to prevent himself from laughing. With a vexed face, I removed my head from his lap, but as I was bringing it up he captured it and placed it on his shoulder.

"I think it is perfect like this," He said as he smiled at me and I turned and hid my face embarrassed in his shoulder blade making my hair face him.

In no time, I felt myself moving so I turned back and I realised that the wheel had started rolling. I looked up and I saw myself beside the sky.

With a smile placed on my face, I inhaled the beautiful air which felt different from the normal one but it didn't last long before I felt myself falling. I screamed as the wheel brought us down and when screaming wasn't enough, I held Julian's waist as I buried my face in his chest. It was so fun and I knew it was sweeter because I was with Julian.

After enjoying our time on the Ferris wheel, we went for a dolphin ride.

It was sweeter and more enjoyable; throughout the time my head never left his shoulder blade as I looked at either his face or the sky. And whenever our eyes met, I would look down with my face flushed but the sweet and cool moment had to end as we couldn't stay there all day.

After the wonderful ride, we headed back to the car because it was getting already very late.

As we were going Julian suddenly halted and when I looked at him with questions in my gaze, he looked uneasy.

I was about to ask him what was wrong but he began,

"Jessica, I want to.....well..." He gazed intently at me and he looked like he was finding it hard to speak.

"I want to be with you" He finally said after a while and I blinked at him confused.

'Wasn't he already with me? So what was he talking about?!' I thought as my gaze which was a confused one questioned him.

"I want our relationship to go further; I mean, I want to be in your life: not as a friend but as someone who you will give your heart to because I like you and I have always liked you, I am crazy about you. And I don't know why but every time, every moment and every day, you are always in my mind and no matter what I do, I can't just stop thinking about you" He added and my heart skipped a beat as I heard those words but before I could digest what he said fully, the next question he asked made my system shut down as the word "Will you be my girlfriend?" kept echoing in my mind.

I looked around to clarify if I was in a dream world or it was real because right now if I was woken up by my nanny or Camella I would not be shocked since it was too good and loving to be true.

When my gaze found him, I saw a desperate look on his face. He looked so nervous and that look made him the cutest on earth.

'If he only knew how happy I was and how overwhelmed I felt by hearing those words, he wouldn't show that expression' I thought as I smiled.

All the words he said, were too hearth warming, they were just too loving.

And when I heard the word that I was always on his mind at every moment, second and day, my heart nearly busted out of joy. And the word 'I am crazy about you,'.

Geez.....only God knows how long I can keep my sanity in place. Right now, my mind was in a mess; in a total mess! The smile on my face already showed how happy I was but I was still dumbstruck.

I couldn't bring myself to say a word.

All I could do was to gaze back at him with round eyes.

"It's okay, I will understand if you say No," He said as he gave me a sullen look and my mouth hung open: I was about to say a word but I didn't know what to say. My heartbeat alone was damn loud.

He grabbed my hands and he squeezed them; he was about to say something but I stopped him. I couldn't just let this go like this!

"Julian, I never said No. Why would I?" I smiled "Well I think Yes will be more suitable," I said as I caressed his hands.

As he heard my reply a relieved smile made its way up to his face and I widened my smile replying to his.

"Thank you. I promise never to hurt you, I promise to always be by your side and never leave you," He said and I smiled seeing how cute he looked but before I could utter another word he enveloped me with the warmest and coolest hug ever.
