"You still think Shiro would leave?" Shizuka asked Saya in a room. Only the ladies were in this room.

"No. He's willing to stay." Saya shook her head.

"Hoo… What brought about a change in your mindset?" Saeko asked with a smile.

Saya blushed a bit. "We… I blocked him this morning on his way back from outside the estate and we uhm… talked."

'Blocked? I hope you didn't try anything stupid.' Hina's mind was working on its own immediately after she heard Saya's reply.

"I see. So he went out again. He's quite the busy boy." Shizuka chuckled.

"He said he wouldn't feel safe if he didn't reduce the number of undead close to the estate and that he was doing it so when we leave, we wouldn't be cornered." Saya explained.

"That's so sweet of him." Shizuka complimented him and Hina nodded along with Saeko.

Saeko also complimented him. "He's always had a nice personality."

"Is Shiro strong?" Alice asked.

'Of course, he is. He's the strongest in the team afterall.' That was what Hina wanted to say but she just nodded her head.

"He is." Saeko answered Alice's question.

"Stronger than even you?" Alice knew that Saeko was the strongest on the team so she made a comparison between Saeko and Shiro.

Saeko smiled at Alice's question. "He's a lot stronger than me."

"That's true." Hina replied.

"Your dad comes back to the estate tomorrow right?" Saeko turned to Saya.

Saya nodded. "Yes, we'll speak with him once he gets back and inform him about our departure and then, we'll get his answer tomorrow."

"And what if he agrees for us to leave but doesn't allow you?" Saeko asked.

"I'll run away with you guys." Saya shrugged.

Saeko sighed and stood up from her seat. She walked toward the balcony. "I don't even know if that's brave or foolish, but we'll be happy to run away with you. Assuming your dad doesn't hunt us all down one by one."

"I think I'll have to check up on the vehicle. It should be completely fixed by now." Saya also stood up and walked out of the room.

Shizuka rushed to catch up with her. "Hey, wait for me. Let's go together. I also wanna see the humvee." Alice was walking with her.

"If you insist." They all walked away, heading for the vehicle's location.

"I need sleep." Hina climbed the bed and slept off with Saeko standing on the balcony staring at something only she knew.

"I never expected it to be so fun. Now I can't even stand because of all the drinks I've had to drink when I refused to answer." Takashi tapped on his belly.

"We're all in the same problem here." Kohta tapped his belly too and all three of them laughed.

"I can stand though." Shiro stood up after taking five cans of drinks.

"That's crazy." Kohta gasped and then laughed.

Takashi lay down flat on the floor, facing up. "You took the lowest so if anyone could stand among us, it would be you."

"That's true I guess." Shiro nodded before walking back to his usual couch.

"I shouldn't ask but I'm curious. You've been fighting with your backpack all the time before you arrived, right?" Kohta started another conversation.

Shiro fell on the couch before answering Kohta's question. "Not really, but yeah. Most times, I'm fighting while carrying it."

"How the hell do you do that with all these cans in your backpack?" Kohta asked again.

Shiro just smiled at the question. "They're well arranged in the backpack. So well arranged that it doesn't hinder me while I run."

"That has to be a lie." Takashi and Kohta didn't believe it.

"There's nothing I can do to convince you though." Shiro shrugged.

"I think I'll head out two more times today before Saya's father returns."

"You're still thinking of going out?" Kohta raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Just twice. One hour outside each time and I'm back." Shiro responded.

"I'd love to go with you." Takashi added.

"Sure sure. You said you used a metal bat as a weapon. Is that really okay?" Shiro asked.

"Yeah. I can swing it just perfectly. I haven't found a good blade so I'll go with the bat for now." Takashi replied.

"Wait a moment." Shiro pulled the red blade and threw it at Takashi. "Check out this blade."

Takashi caught the sword and asked Shiro. "Isn't this yours?"

"Yes, it's mine so check it out, will you?" Shiro replied.

Takashi pulled the blade out of its sheath. The red hilt held a spring blade. He could see his face reflect on it. "This is a great weapon." Takashi gasped.

"Is this the kind of weapon you need?" Shiro asked.

"Yeah. It's good enough. Scratch that… It's better than what I needed." Takashi nodded.

"Then it's yours." Shiro chuckled.

Takashi looked at Shiro and objected. "I can't take it. Isn't this yours?"

Shiro stared back at him. "Don't repeat questions. It was mine. Now it's yours."

"But…" Takashi still tried to refuse.

"Don't worry, I've got another one." Shiro smiled.

Takashi then came to a realization. "Oh, the blue sword. I totally forgot about it because I haven't seen it since the first day. Where is it?"

Shiro placed his hand behind him, in the line that separated the horizontal part of the couch from the vertical part.

"Inventory." He thought and it opened behind him. He pulled the sword out of the inventory, closed it, and acted as if it had been behind him.

"Here. Check it out." Shiro tossed it at Takashi.

Takashi held it and tried pulling out the sword from its scabbard. "It's not coming out." He said with frustration after pulling several times.

"Try opening it." Takashi passed the blade to Kohta.

The same thing happened with Kohta and after several failed attempts, he asked Shiro. "How do you pull it out?"

Shiro had been smiling since Takashi tried to pull the blade. " There's a button on the scabbard just below the handle. Press it down and pull out the blade." Shiro answered giggling.

"You should've given me a heads-up." Takashi sighed.

"I experienced that too and failed. So it's fun for me to watch others fail too."

Kohta looked around and found the button.

Click.

Kohta pressed it and pulled the blade out.

Both of them gasped at the blade's decoration. A thin spring blade that looked like it would break when bent slightly. Its surface was like a mirror and Kohta could see his reflection perfectly.

"I'll be damned. No wonder you gave this to me." Takashi laughed.
