"HP has dropped due to the injury. Since one free point equals five HP, I'll make an exchange later." Shiro glanced at the system panel.

The deep cut on his arm began to heal but it was a lot slower than the first time he had done it because he didn't refill his HP. He didn't want others to notice that he could heal instantly.

"You should get that stitched." Shizuka suggested.

"I'll be fine. I just need to cover the face of the injury." Shiro answered. He wanted to cover it so that when it was completely healed, the others wouldn't know.

Shizuka held his other arm in between both her arms and pulled him forward. "Then let's head inside together."

"I'm coming too." Hina followed behind.

"We'll meet you guys in a few minutes. We need to make some adjustments first." Takashi and the others replied.

All three of them walked away from the rest, into the same building their rooms were located.

The only difference this time was that Shiro was being taken to a different place.

They walked past different doors till they came to a stop at another one with a dark brown color.

This was Shizuka's room, where Shiro would get treated.

"Thank you for permitting Saya's leave with us." Kohta bowed in appreciation.

Suichiro shook his head. "We made a bet and you won so it's only right to reward you guys. Don't bother so much about it. I've been told many times that I looked too strict and cold. I agree with those who say that, but if there's one thing I also know, it's that I love my daughter so much. I wouldn't want to see her in any danger."

Suichiro started walking back to his room with the others behind him. "When do you children plan to leave?"

"Tomorrow should be perfect. We need rest and Shiro needs it more, considering his battle with you just now injured him." Takashi answered.

Suichiro nodded and walked away from the others. He stopped after he was a few meters away. "We'll meet up by seven for dinner. Every one of you." Then he continued walking away.

Kohta was overjoyed. "He just invited us for dinner. Saya, did you hear that?" He turned, looking for Saya.

"Where's Saya?"

"She left a moment ago to have a look at Shiro." Saeko replied.

Knock. Knock.

Click.

The door to Shizuka's room opened and Saya walked in. She looked around before moving closer.

All eyes stared at her as she walked closer. Shiro's left arm was covered in bandage.

"I just wanted to thank you for the help. I'm indebted to you." Saya dipped her head down. "Thank you."

"Don't mention. I was dragged into it because Saeko decided to accept the duel." Shiro waved his hand.

Not long after, the rest of the group walked in.

They explained what had transpired between them and Saya's father.

Shiro grunted, stroking his left arm tenderly. "After a fight, now I have to attend a dinner with him. Well done you all… Next time, you should make me rob his treasure vault."

Kohta asked Shiro regardless of his complaint. "You'll attend right?"

Shiro didn't give a direct answer. "I need to sleep so, see you all when it's time to go."

He lay on the bed and closed his eyes.

The others remained in the room, talking with one another.

Shiro was wearing black trousers with black shoes, and a white shirt with short sleeves due to his injury. The white bandage still clung to his arm.

"I don't want to engage in talks, so let's just head there directly." Shiro informed Kohta, his roommate.

Kohta nodded and for the rest of the journey, both of them remained quiet.

When they got there, it was a few minutes earlier. It didn't take long before Shiro and Kohta spotted the others approaching.

Hina and Saeko approached together. Saeko dressed in a black gown with a white collar. Hina on the other hand dressed in an all-blue gown.

The rest arrived one by one. Takashi in a white shirt and brown trousers. Shizuka wore a yellow gown and Alice wore the same thing. The only one missing was Saya.

"Probably with her family." Hina guessed and just as the words left her mouth, Saya and her family walked into the room at exactly seven.

There was a combination of many different foods, ranging from appetizers to desserts.

As they ate, conversations sparked up here and there.

"I have been informed that my daughter will be leaving with you children. As a mother, I can't stand it but I also want my daughter to be in the safest hands possible."

Saya's mother looked at Shiro before she continued her speech. "My husband said he lost to you and that you were stronger than him. I'm leaving Saya in your hands, please, protect her." Saya was blushing so she bent her head down.

Shiro looked back at her and then replied bluntly. "No, thank you."

The faces of everyone changed. "Protecting Saya is a job for one person alone. That's Kohta's job."

Kohta heard it and blushed.

Suichiro looked at Shiro, moved his eyes to Kohta and back to Shiro, then asked. "Didn't you fight for Saya to leave with you guys? Why would you do that if you weren't going to protect her?"

Shiro explained his reason to everyone. "I didn't fight you for that reason. If the fight had been between you and Saeko as intended, she wouldn't agree to surrender and would undoubtedly end up with lots of injuries. She would want Saya to leave with them."

"I simply didn't want to see her in blood. I was going to give up halfway but I decided to see it through the fight."

'I was only trying to see how far I had grown.' Shiro spoke inside.

"I see." Suichiro nodded.

Shiro looked at Kohta and winked at him. "Kohta has always been the one to look after her and I won't be the one to end his role. Don't get me wrong, if my help is needed at some point, I'll offer it immediately."

"That's also fine since you're a team. Either way, you're together with them. It might be annoying but who's the leader?" Suichiro asked.
