CLASS SELECTION

Hi guys, the last chapter was corrected. Before this chapter, there was supposed to be one and I've uploaded that one. I'm really sorry but you guys should read that one first.

"Sorry. I had a sudden stomach ache and it felt like if I moved, the whole room would explode." Shiro apologized.

"Well, we're done with the meeting. I'll be leaving." Takashi stood up to leave.

"And where will you be going? The ladies are busy together." Kohta asked him.

Takashi scratched the back of his head. "I'll just walk around the place."

"Come on. Just sit down and let's play a game." Kohta insisted.

"You guys should excuse me for a few minutes. I need to visit the toilet again for number two this time." Shiro rushed into the bathroom.

Shiro locked the door and spoke the command. "Class Title."

A panel popped up.

{Player Shiro has been offered the classes below. Choose wisely:

Assassin: Given the basic traits of an assassin. The ability to conceal yourself from the sight of others, called stealth. The ability to study, analyze and create poisons and a few other skills.

Stealth, Agility, and Sense are your advantages.

Upgradeable.

Tanker: Given the ability to pull aggro onto yourself, making the others seem nonexistent. All eyes become fixed on you, giving the members of your team the chance to do damage to the enemies.

Strength and Defense are your forts.

Upgradeable.

Archer: Gets impossible accuracy when shooting arrows. You possess good eyes to discern distance and angles of attack. Become a good spy for the team because you're always on higher grounds, giving the team information about their surroundings.

Agility, Accuracy, and Sense are all aspects you excel at.

Upgradeable.

Thief: Similar to an assassin, but different in many ways. You have the stealth and speed of an assassin. Your stealth is weaker but then, you're an expert at locks. With special metals, he could unlock any lock.

Agility, Intelligence, Stealth, and Sense are your gifts.

Upgradeable.

Collector: A special class that affects all your teammates. You supernaturally share your Stamina with your teammates, making them able to fight for a longer time. After the gifting of stamina is over, if your Stamina depletes, you'll bear all the group stress yourself.

Also, it could happen the other way around, that is, you could siphon Stamina from teammates making you able to fight longer and use more skills without fear of depleting his Stamina. Your Exp increases by 30% whenever you share your Stamina.

Stamina is your domain.

Has a hidden trait.

Not Upgradeable.}

Shiro read through the list of classes and thought about the good and bad of the classes one after another. "Assassin would be great since no one will see or even sense me but the undead are dumb. Stealth is wasted on them. The agility boost would be great though."

"The tanker pretty much suits my style but I don't want to just pull aggro while the others go for the kill. If I could give out classes, I'd give this to Takashi. I would love to be among those hunting for the kills. I need the points after all. It helps me refill HP and I'm sure it does other things too. I'll have to look into the features of the system later."

"The archer is a great class but we already have Kohta as a long-range fighter. He could be a sniper too. I'll have to sit this one out even though it has great feats."

"Thief… Hmmm. Doesn't sound nice to my ear but its specialty is amazing. We'll be heading for military zones from now on and many places might be locked. It'll be of great help but I'll only specialize in locks and sneaks."

"The collector seems really odd. The fact that I can share my stamina which doesn't seem to run out is a great thing. It'll make everyone last longer when fighting. That's great and it also helps to boost my level up speed. The downside is that if we fight for long and my stamina drops, I'll carry that burden alone. Well, that's not true since I can also steal stamina from others. A piggy bank for stamina. That's great." Shiro spoke about the classes one by one.

"Another downfall is that it's not Upgradeable. The rest can get stronger but it can't since it's only about my stamina. But the hidden trait has got my curiosity. Even if it turns out to be trash, the class's skill is already a cheat."

"I'll go with the Collector Class." Shiro decided.

{Class Selected.

Player Class: Collector.}

Shiro smiled.

He closed the panel and walked out of the bathroom.

"Sorry, it took so long." Shiro apologized.

"It's fine." Kohta waved his hand.

"You seem happy. Did something good happen there?" Takashi asked when he saw the smile on Shiro's face.

"It's a secret but something good really happened." Shiro nodded.

"What's that?" Kohta asked curiously.

Shiro walked toward the other two. "I just said it's a secret. Don't bother, I'm not saying a thing."

"I see. Scratch that then. Hurry and let's start the game." Kohta ordered.

Shiro sat cross-legged facing the other two. "What game will it be?"

"The usual truth or dare. I've got a bottle of water so we'll use that." Kohta answered, pulling out a bottle of water that was half filled.

"I'll be damned." Shiro chuckled.

"Who spins first?" Takashi asked.

Kohta tossed the bottle of water to Takashi. "You should go first."

Takashi caught it and placed it on the floor. He spun it and it stopped at Shiro.

"Great. Truth." Shiro grunted.

"Who won the most during your childhood spars with Saeko?" Takashi asked.

"She won seven out of every ten times."

"You won the other three?" Kohta was curious.

"No. It was either three draws or two draws and a narrow win for me." Shiro replied.

Takashi uttered. "But she kept saying you were better than her."

"Maybe individually but in a spar, she was better." Shiro answered.

"I see. Would she win against you now?" Takashi asked again.

"Pfft… She'd lose ten out of every nine times." Kohta was the one that reply.

"Pfft…" Shiro held his laughter. "Whose turn is it now?" Shiro asked.

"It's your turn." Takashi handed the bottle to Shiro.
