The sun was beginning to rise. It was barely dawn in the place. It was early in the morning, and the cold was present in the air.

Shinka got off the bus, entering the bus terminal again, but this time, he was in Kuoh.

He quickly checked in, and upon entering the waiting room, he noticed an older lady with a friendly appearance and a girl with certain qualities similar to Shinka.

Brown eyes, hair of the same color, a short stature, and a slender body, except for her feminine features.

The girl's eyes lit up as soon as she saw her brother, and she ran straight to hug him.

"Shinka! I haven't seen you in ages!" Shinka's sister squeezed her brother tightly, and far from being a comedic relief, he felt a strength beyond what his sister should have.

"Ow!" A groan escaped his lips.

"S-Sorry, Shinka, I wasn't careful." The girl realized she overdid it and solemnly apologized to her brother, loosening her grip.

"It's okay, don't worry, Reya." Shinka whispered as he returned the hug to his sister.

Logically, he didn't use all his real strength, and even if he had, he was sure he wouldn't be able to match his sister's strength.

'She has a system.' Shinka concluded the moment he saw how his grandmother looked at Reya, with some concern at seeing such a scene, and also how Reya reacted.

Shinka acted normally, approaching his grandmother and giving her a loving hug.

"I haven't seen you in 10 years, Shinka." The grandmother seemed genuine expressing her love to her grandson with a hug.

Shinka didn't interact too much with his grandmother, but he also held great affection for her, although there were hidden things in his family regarding his grandmother, he never thought ill of her.

"It's time to go home, Grandma and I have prepared a great feast to celebrate your arrival!"

With those words, everyone took a taxi and headed to Grandma's house.

On the way, the three of them talked about trivialities, but Shinka was in two different tones.

While he spoke and thought about his responses, on the other hand, his mind was considering the possibilities that his sister might have a system similar to his.

[Double Concentration LV.25 Achieved.]

[All requirements to evolve the skill are met.]

[Double Concentration LV.25 becomes Split Thinking LV.1]

That strength was inhuman, Shinka knew it, his strength stat had reached the high human grade, and it was impossible for him to exert the same amount of force that his sister exerted with as little effort as she did.

That being the case, he now had to consider other things.

For example, isn't it too much of a coincidence that something that an inaccurate but probably scarce number of people possess, two people with blood ties have it?

Of course, it is. The system could be something that perhaps only he and his sister have, as well as something that about 1000 people around the globe have.

Shinka doubts that there are more than that amount because there would clearly have been a scandal around the world by now.

Someone with the system should have caused some disaster at some point, and since there was no information about someone with superhuman abilities, it means that maybe they were captured by government entities or that they are simply so scarce that nothing has happened to demonstrate their existence to most people.

In the blink of an eye, the family had arrived at Grandma's house.

The house was a traditional Japanese one. Quite beautiful and well maintained.

The three entered and ate, catching up completely.

Later, Grandma went to rest. Shinka and his sister would share a room for a while.

THUD

Shinka dropped his backpack to the floor.

"Wow, your backpack seems a bit heavy," said Reya.

"That's right. But it doesn't matter, I've been doing some exercise."

"Ohh, really? So you're already at the age where you want to impress girls?" Reya tried to tease her brother, but he kept his calm neutral expression, yet the corner of his lips lifted slightly.

"Maybe. Anyway, at the bus terminal, I noticed that you've also been doing some exercise."

Reya's demeanor immediately changed to a somewhat embarrassed one.

"Haha, maybe a little... I started boxing a year ago."

"I see. I've been practicing martial arts since you left, do you want to try my best punch?"

Shinka knew well who his sister was. She was someone very kind who often praised others' achievements, and she would surely accept her brother's punch just to tell him how much his strength had improved.

"Sure. Let's go, give me your best shot." Reya grabbed a pillow from her bed and used it as support to withstand a punch.

A smile formed on Shinka's face, and he took a boxing stance. To test, he intentionally executed the wrong fighting position.

He could see in his sister's eyes that she really thought he was doing well.

'She would have told me right away what was wrong. She lied when she said she started boxing a year ago. This is something even a junior could notice at a glance.'

Without paying attention to the lie, Shinka delivered the hardest punch he could make.

POOF

The pillow was fluffed with one punch.

Feathers flew around the room and adorned Reya's eyes with how impressed she was.

"That was amazing, you really have a lot of strength now." She said while applauding with stars in her eyes.

A drop of sweat trickled down Shinka's face. It wasn't from exhaustion, although that punch was indeed the strongest he could give.

The drop of sweat was because that punch could have dislocated some of his sister's bones, but she was completely fine.

Shinka opened his status window for a moment.

Seeing that everything was where it should be, he was stunned. Still, his expression didn't change. It remained the same calm expression he had from the beginning.

"I'm glad you see my results. I've worked hard." Shinka said with a friendly tone.

"..."

Shinka now understood that his sister had forgotten the most important thing. Strengthening the mind. However, now two new doubts arose.

Why doesn't his sister admit to using the system? Logically, she should be aware of Shinka's strength, but still, she hasn't said anything at all.

It could also be that Reya is so absurdly strong that she hasn't noticed that Shinka is a very strong human.

Shinka thought that maybe the second possibility was the most feasible, but he certainly knew that Reya was hiding something.

If she didn't speak it out, it means she has her reasons. So Shinka won't press further.

At the same time, the second doubt is; Are all systems the same?

Without approximate data on how many people could have the system, it is even harder to know if everyone possesses the same one, or another completely different one, or similar.

All of that was just giving Shinka headaches.
