"You… give me silence." The blank faced Ophis said as we stood atop Big Ben.

"Father?" Jack asked as she looked up with a bit of worry on her face.

"Don't worry Jack, Father is stronger than her." I reassured my newly obtained daughter.

"Hn!" She replied with with confident expression on her face as she held my hand.

"Stronger?" Ophis asked with what I assume to be doubt as she cocked her head.

After all, only Great Red is supposed to be stronger than her.

"Yes, I am stronger." I told her as we locked eyes.

The eyes are called windows to the souls for a reason.

And her's widened, breaking her emotionless expression as she felt the raw strength contained within me and I felt hers.

The world faded away in that moment as our Concepts met one another. Her [Infinite] and [Nothingness] were her main, while my [Time] and [Space] stood as mine. Complete opposites which needed each other to truly exist.

[Time] is [Infinite] and [Infinite] cannot be so with [Space] nor [Time], while [Nothingness] cannot be felt without the existence of [Space] or it would simply be [Space] once something appeared within it.

In essence it is simply that everything is connected if one looks deep enough.

Her [Chaos], was relatively minor due to it mostly being from her link and affinity with the Dimensional Gap, and although I have not truly touched upon [Chaos] yet, my divinity of [Rule] is enough to counter it. I am after, a God-King for an entire planet and a bringer of [Order].

This 'exchange', was an incredibly lengthy one for the two of us as we locked gaze, but [Time] was meaningless to itself and the [Infinite], thus it was both an immeasurably long and short time.

"Hn." Ophis finally said with a nod, breaking our exchange, before calmly approaching us.

Jack was gripping my hand a bit tighter, but I gave her a reassuring squeeze to calm her, resulting in the girl somehow getting a bit shy as she hid behind my leg instead.

Ophis stopped in front of me, tugged my shirt and looked up.

"Come and beat Baka-Red with me." She said with a little shine in her dark grey eyes.

"No." I instantly rejected, causing her eyes to darken.

"Why?" She asked as some minor traces of dissatisfaction appeared on her face.

"Because I don't have a reason. Baka-Red didn't wrong me after all and that is its home too." I answered patiently as a thoughtful look appeared on the girl's face due to not knowing how to proceed.

She already knows she can't exactly force me after our little exchange, so now the Ouroboros Dragon was in a dilemma it's immense strength couldn't solve.

Jack peeked her head from behind me curiously as nothing bad had happened. I looked at her until I picked her up and let her sit on my arm as she clung to my neck.

"Hehe~ Father!" She happily called out as we were now at the same height.

"I thought you'd like this. Just let me know if you want to go down." I told her with a gentle smile.

"Umu!" She replied with a bright smile as she began curiously looking around like this new height opened a whole new world.

As I took care of her, Ophis seemed to find a solution to her dilemma as her eyes brightened again and she summoned a snake-like piece of energy I could sense her power in.

"I'll give you my snake. Help you understand." She said as she held it out expectantly. "Then you help me beat up Baka-Red and get back my Silence."

"Still no." I rejected calmly as she staggered like a child being told she couldn't receive a new toy.

'So this is what they meant when they said 'naive' and essentially 'blank'. She was never taught any sort of values, logic or beliefs and simply acted on her instincts, powers and her desires to regain her silence. As a result, her mental age never progressed beyond that of a small child, especially since she never had any true interactions with anyone, at least not anyone who didn't treat her as the walking armageddon she is.' I thought as I observed everything critically.

"But my snake makes you stronger. We beat Baka-Red easily." Ophis essentially complained as the shadows of a pout formed on her face.

"I don't want your [Nothing] or [Infinite], they'll only taint my own once I properly develop them. I also don't desire you power nor the destruction fighting Great Red would cause for your desire." I responded politely.

She might basically be a child, but she is an enlightened and powerful one. She understands what I mean.

"Father, what's that thing? It makes us feel bad. And what does she want?" Jack asked me as she hugged my neck tighter.

"That is some of her power, and it is dangerous, so it's good you don't want to touch it. Jack is a smart girl." I answered as I gave her a head pat, causing her to feel happy over the praise and reward. "As for what she wants, I guess, Ophis wants to go home."

"Hm? Home? Like where father is taking us?" Jack asked curiously.

"Yeah, I guess. Ophis wants to go to her home." I answered with a bit of thought.

"Does she not have a father to bring her home to mother?" Jack innocently asked.

"No. I guess in a sense, Ophis might be like you Jack." I answered with a soft gaze.

"Hmmm." Jack put on a rather thoughtful expression.

And while we talked, Ophis seemed to have broken out of her 'staggered' state and returned to her deep thoughts.

So I just looked at the two lolis patiently until Jack tugged on my hair a bit.

"Can you let us down father?" She asked with a look of determination.

"Sure Jack." I answered her without much worry.

Ophis won't hurt her for no reason and I'm here anyway.

It was interesting to see my new daughter walk up to Ophis with a bit of nervousness, gaining her attention by pulling her clothes, causing the dragon loli to look at the spirit one.

"Ne, if you don't have a home, why not come with us and father? Being in a home is better than not being in a home." Jack asked childishly.

"Home? Why is it better?" Ophis asked with a head tilt.

It think it's because Ophis never really knew the concept and the Dimensional Gap is her 'silence', not home per say. It certainly would be considered such by pretty much everyone that it is where she lives or desires to be at least, but that's not a 'home'.

"Father said that home is where the child, mother and father can live and be happy." Jack proudly explained with a puffed out chest.

Ophis didn't say anything and just looked between us as if not really understanding.

I'm sure she knows the concepts of child, mother and father due to her long time on earth and at least knowing so from other dragons, but I think she doesn't really understand what Jack is saying. Especially since Jack doesn't really understand it either.

So I decided to come to the lolis and gently pick up Jack.

"I won't help you defeat Great Red, Ophis. But if you want, I can give you a place where I think you will be happy. With less 'noise', lots of interesting things happening and many enjoyable experiences." I told the little Dragon of Infinity with a soothing and patient voice.

"Happy?" She asked with a head tilt.

"How to explain that?" I asked myself before remembering some little facts about this loli, so I took out some chocolat chip cookies Liora baked from my storage, looking fresh from the oven, making both lolis zero in onto the scent. "Why don't you try this and tell me how you feel?"

"Father, father! Can we have that too?" My white haired one asked with pleading eyes as she instinctively used one of the loli's most deadly moves: Puppy dog eyes.

"Of course Jack, here. These are called cookies. And this kind is a chocolate chip cookie." I answered her as I passed her one and she fidgeted in my arm from expectation until she opened her tiny mouth to take a bite.

Her eyes widened immediately as she took a bite, soon making her cry out, "Yuuuummmmyyyyyyyyyy!!!" Before she quickly wolfed down the treat.

Looking at the white haired loli's enjoyment, the black haired one looked at the rest with hints of curiosity and accepted the one I then handed to her.

Sniffing it slightly, her eyes widened before she took a nibble aaaaannnd, another bit the dust as even her impassive eyes lit up from the tasty sweet.

Thus began the two lolis' holy crusade against any uneaten cookies as they quickly ate cookie after cookie. I needed to make sure neither would miss out by giving them each their own plates.

One was the Dragon God and the other was the amalgamation of 10'000 spirits, so I wasn't exactly worried about it being unhealthy.

"That was so tasty father! So much better than hearts!" Jack innocently said as I wiped her mouth of crumbs.

"I'm glad you liked it. A friend of mine made those and she really feels happy when people like her food." I responded calmly as I couldn't blame her for not knowing better and following her instincts as an evil spirit. Hearts were a source of life and very nutritional for them after all.

These cookies were made from quite the magical ingredients and served as quite the substitute.

Ophis on the other hand, she was looking at the now empty plate with forlorn eyes. Well, until she heard me say my next words.

"She has a lot of different kinds of cookies and tasty foods too."

With that her eyes gained a fierce determination as she walked over and tugged on my pants, making me look down.

She then held out the plate with expectant eyes.

"Sorry Ophis, but I can't just give you cookies." I said, causing her eyes to darken and drop the plate as if it was the end. "*Chuckle* But do you remember the feeling you had when you ate them?"

The downtrodden loli nod slowly as if sad.

"Well that would be a bit like what happy feels like. So if you come to my home, I'm sure we can have you feel happy even if you're not in the Dimensional Gap. At least we have plenty of food to offer and many snack times." I tried to explain to her.

At the very least it seemed like the food part made her come back to life, evident by her now holding my pant leg with great determination.

"More cookies?" She asked with fiery eyes.

"Yes. And many other tasty things. It's not good to just eat cookies or you would miss the many other tasty foods out there." I answered with a wry smile.

"Ok. I'll come. And after cookies, we beat up Great Red." She declared as a great quest was upon us.

Rather cute.

"*Sigh* I'm not helping you beat up Great Red." I responded, causing her to deflate slightly.

"Why?" She asked with a minuscule whinny tone.

"Because I don't want to and my home is better. Instead of silence we have good noise and food. As well as warmth." I replied with a smirk.

"Good noise?" Ophis asked as if that wasn't possible.

"I'll show you later." I told her as I scooped her up and held her in my arm like Jack.

She simply let me do as I pleased, somehow confident I wouldn't harm her, but seemingly interested at the novel experience of being carried like this.

The black haired loli simply mimicked Jack's way of holding onto my neck.

"So are we going home to meet mother now father?" The white haired one asked innocently.

"Indeed we are." I answered her with a kind smile.

And with that, I teleported the three of us to my castle.

-Lith's Office

"I'm back." I announced to the two women in the room.

"Welcome back master." Medusa perfectly responded before taking a curious look at the two lolis looking at her. "And who might our two little guests be?"

"The white haired one is Jack, a bit like you when cursed actually. She is the amalgamation of the 10'000 souls of abandoned children and aborted fetuses from the prostitution in London. She became an evil spirit thought of as a serial killer after killing five women." I answered without a care in the world while having a bit of fun trying to break Medusa's 'perfect maid' seriousness, "She is also my new daughter and i will need you to summon Ereshkigal about that."

'Ha! Her eye and mouth twitched at the daughter bit.' I inwardly thought as a smug smile appeared on my face to display my awareness of my victory, causing Medusa to sigh a bit.

"Beloved, as much as I can understand why you have brought an evil spirit formed of the innocent to us, I must ask why you have brought such a monster here." Scáthach said with deadly seriousness as she focused solely on Ophis while being ready to summon her spears at a moments notice.

Said dragon wasn't even looking at her, being more focused on Medusa actually.

"Oh, this is Ophis, the Infinite Dragon Ouroboros. She doesn't have a home and likes cookies, so Jack invited her to come stay here for a while." I answered with a cat-like smile.

"M-master? Did you say this little girl is the Strongest being of Earth?" Medusa asked with a cold sweat.

They might know I'm strong, but it's still hard to beat knowledge ingrained into you regarding this loli. It doesn't help that she's being stared at by the infinite snake and Medusa has some snake in her

"Yes. And she likes cookies." I answered as I gave one to her and she immediately stopped looking at Medusa and nibbled on the treat.

'Really cute.' I thought.

"Father~ Not fair." Jack said with a pout.

"Sorry, sorry. Here's yours." I replied as another cookie appeared.

"Yay~!" The loli celebrated as she quickly bit into her's.

"Beloved, why is the Infinite Dragon acting like a child?" Scáthach finally asked as she couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Think of her as a blank. She doesn't exactly know much outside of her very limited 'experience', so she is 'innocent'." I explained to my lover who quickly understood the meaning of my words.

"I see. Very well then. I will go warn everyone about this." My Queen dutifully said with a nod.

"And I shall go summon lady Ereshkigal." Medusa followed up with a respectful bow.

"Do tell her to come to the kitchen. These two no doubt want more sweets and seeing them being made is a rather nice experience." I replied as I walked to the now open door with both lolis in arms.

"Yes master." Maidusa said as she vanished from her spot.

"What is a kitchen father?" Jack curiously asked.

"That is where food is made." I answered her as we walked. "Usually food is made by either the mother or father in smaller houses, but here we have Aunty Liora who is the best chef. She made the cookies."

Those words made Ophis focus and Jack wow.

As we walked Jack looked around and asked many questions while Ophis let herself be carried in silence, only listening and focusing when food was mentioned.

Making it to the kitchen, the two lolis looked around with curiosity as this was where cookies came from.

They saw the dozen cooks and staff work with magical appliances, technological tools and mixes of both as they smoothly moved across the kitchen like a well oiled machine, with one absolute ruler directing everything without even having to speak.

"Hm? My lord, a pleasure to see you today. Is there something I should know for the morning's breakfast?" Liora asked with a simple raised eyebrow before looking a bit curiously at the two girls in my arms. "Did you have children from outside of your harem?"

She quickly signaled to her husband and Sous-chef to take over while she addressed me.

"No. Although I am taking one in while the other will likely be living here." I answered her with a wry smile.

People tend to think I'm a horn dog due to my impossibly high-class harem. Satan, Leader of all Youkai, Most Beautiful in Heaven, Amazonian Princess, Dragon Queen, God Slayer, ex-Saint and current 'Witch', Goddess and Possible sister (people keep doubting Ciri not being related). All incredibly attractive women in their own way and powerful to boot.

Although Liora knows the truth, she likes to tease a bit.

"But why bring them here my lord?" My Head Chef asked.

"Well, they wanted some sweets. Various cookies preferably, and I thought it would be good for them to see them being made by the best baker in the land." I answered with a proud smile as the two lolis looked at the short but stacked woman in front of us with starry eyes, even as Ophis somehow keeps her blank expression.

"Is that right? Well then, would you two little ladies like to help me make cookies? They always taste the best when there's a bit of 'you' in them." Liora asked the two in a motherly tone as she essentially went 'grandma mode'.

"Put us in the cookies?" Jack asked out of confusion.

Ophis just tilted her head before looking at me.

"*Chuckle* It just means that the cookies usually taste better when you make them yourself, even if their a bit wrong." I answered as simply as possible since it is a rather advanced cooking concept. "You can even make some for mother if you want. I'm sure she would love them."

"Really?!" Jack asked intensely.

"Of course." I gently answered.

"Then I want to make cookies!" The white haired loli declared as she jumped out of my arms and stood in front of Liora.

"Fufu~ We will make the best cookies for your mama." Liora fondly said as she rubbed the little girls head, causing her to smile.

"Do you want to try? The cookies you made will be all yours afterward." I told Ophis with a little bait.

Her eyes widened at the revelation before she nodded and jumped down as well, joining Jack in front of Liora with a 'burning' gaze.

"How cute~!" Liora gushed as she looked at the monochromatic lolis.

"The white haired one is Jack and the black haired one is Ophis." I informed Liora.

"Ok then, Jack-chan, Ophis-chan, let's get you some aprons~." My chef said as she became cheerful from having two cute little girls with her.

"Oh, be careful with Ophis since she doesn't really know how to control her strength and will need careful explanations, while you should keep Jack away from knives." I informed my chef as she guided the two.

"Yes my lord." She responded as she brought out two cute pink aprons and explained to Jack what they were for.

I watched with an amused smile as Liora began gently guiding the little 'blank' duo through making cookies.

There were times I had to intervene to make sure Ophis wouldn't use her powers, gently guiding her, and others I had to curb Jack's enthusiasm before she just broke things.

Overall, kind of a fun and unique experience I hadn't really had the chance to share with my other children.

Halfway through, Eresh arrived looking at me like she was holding in laughter because I had a good amount of flour on me, with other ingredients here and there.

"So why did you want to see me? To show your new look?" She asked as she patted some flour off my shirt with a teasing smile.

"While I do think I can make this work, I actually called to discuss our new and future daughter." I replied with a cocky smirk as Eresh froze alongside her operating systems.

"W-what?" She finally asked after rebooting.

"I'm sure you can see the little white haired girl." I said while pointing at Jack.

"What about her- Who did that?" She asked with cold fury as she immediately saw what Jack was.

"Calm yourself my goddess." I softly told her as I gently raised her chin. "Jack is a natural occurrence due to London's state. I purified her somewhat and brought her here, but as you can see, she deserves a proper chance at life."

"So you adopted her as our child? Without asking me?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes. But the next part is what matters. I want to give this Jack, the chance all those children never had." I seriously told my lover.

"You mean… have her be ours?" Eresh asked as she pieced the puzzle rather easily, before blushing at the implications.

"In the truest sense. I want to give her, the crying representation of all those abandoned children, what they deserved." I answered as I looked as the girl intensely focusing on her cookie batter under Liora's guidance. "And have a cute baby with you."

"What about the real souls then?" The goddess asked with a worried look after focusing from my last words.

"Jack will be reborn a true goddess as our child, and I believe that using the desires and hopes of those poor souls, while having them be welcomed in Heaven, will allow her to awaken strong divinities relating to them." I answered honestly.

"That is true." Eresh said as she pondered a bit. "Ok, but you owe me mister! Springing this on me so suddenly."

"Anything my goddess demands." I replied with a heated gaze as I seductively kissed her hand, causing her to blush instantly.

"G-good! I'll expect you to worship me tonight as my servant!" She declared as her tsun side flared up adorably.

"As you command." I said with a roguish smile, making her look away as she grew embarrassed.

Just for a bit of extra fun, I gently picked up her golden hair before placing a light kiss on her nape, causing her body to shiver from the touch and freeze slightly.

We then sat down as I enjoyed my blushing lover in my arms, watching the lolis bake with our chef.

It wasn't until the cookies were in the accelerated oven that Jack noticed I was not near them, Ophis chose to intensely watch as the cookies baked, while Jack ran over with a big smile and a curious look.

"Father, father! We're almost done the cookies!" She excitedly said.

"*Chuckle* I saw. I hope you can spare two for your father and mother to try." I replied with a warm smile as Eresh stiffened momentarily before her gaze softened.

"Mo…ther. This is mother?!" Jack asked as she realized what I said.

"Hello Jack. It must have been very lonely all alone in that city." Eresh gently said as she opened her arms and hugged the girl. "But it's ok now. Mommy and daddy are here."

The hug completely stunned Jack as her body stiffened for a moment. It was an extremely unfamiliar sensation, but the warmth and care she was feeling was exactly was her being begged for. So after a moment, she copied Eresh's position and hugged her back, soon unknowingly crying as she tightened her hug.

"*Sniff Sniff* What is this. Why are we?" The white haired asked in confusion as tears began gathering in her eyes.

"It's ok little ones. Just let it all out. Mommy is here." Eresh soothingly said as she let her divinities slowly bring comfort to all the souls within Jack.

Ereshkigal was THE goddess of the Afterlife and the dead on Azarath. Her influence over souls even surpassed mine when it comes to the deceased. She also cares immensely for souls, always had, so seeing so many young souls like this brought out her caring and motherly side, especially since she already agreed that this child would be our daughter.

"*Sniff* Uwaaah!" Jack cried out as the sadness, relief, joy and comfort of thousands of souls poured out from the motherly embrace they had all craved.

Even Ophis was torn away from the baking cookies as she looked at the situation with curiosity. Likely trying to understand what was happening.

"There, there. It's ok. It's all ok now." Eresh patiently comforted as she let Jack free herself from her unknown burden.

She had been born with it after all. As such, she didn't know the weight of all those souls until they lightened. So it took a while for Jack to calm down and fall asleep in Eresh's arms.

In the meantime, Ophis came to me with her blank face mildly different, denoting curiosity.

"How is she less noisy?" Ophis asked as she pointed to Jack who was now being carried by Eresh to a proper room for her to sleep in.

"We took some of the bad, or the parts that were too noisy, and helped her make it the nice sounds again." I tried to explain.

It wasn't as simple as all 'negative' energy being bad. Like all things in nature, there was a need for balance to achieve the best results. It's more like when there is too much of either, it makes things overpowering to those with better sensing abilities, or noisy for Ophis.

The closest analogies I could think of would be that it would be like a badly tuned instrument, or out of sync orchestra maybe. That's why places like Heaven or the Underworld would be very 'noisy' for Ophis and she pretty much always stayed in the human even though there were more sounds, due to there being a better balance.

The Dimensional Gap however, essentially had too powerful of energy to properly make a 'sound' or synchronize, cancelling each other out, hence 'silence' even though it was an extremely perilous place for those below Satan-class levels of power.

(Keep in mind that this is an analogy and does have some loopholes)

"Like this place?" Ophis asked as she gestured to the castle, not the kitchen.

It would seem she noticed that the castle itself was in a state of harmony, energy wise, unlike outside of it.

This was because many residents of this castle had become gods, hence felt more comfortable in the balanced energies we had made for ourself on Azarath. Of course this was mainly in our holy sites and our 'divine mountain', since living beings will obviously affect things, but with the fewer types of energy things are much more stable than on earth. The servant staff simply wore rings or necklaces which made them as comfortable as before.

"Yes." I simply answered her as she went into thought as she plopped herself before the cookies which were pretty much done anyway.

When Liora took them out of the oven, Ophis focused on them and tried to eat them immediately before she was stopped, making her pout subconsciously before the chef explained that they'll taste much better if you gave them a bit of time to rest.

Of course the little glutton found that rather hard, and I found it cute how much she wanted to eat the very large cookies she had made due to the childish though of 'bigger cookie is better cookie'.

Jack's on the other hand looked heavily loaded with chocolat chips instead.

When Liora finally gave Ophis the go ahead, the Dragon God took her first cookie, opened her mouth but then stopped for a second as she looked deeply into her cookie.

'It would seem she is experiencing a new feeling.' I thought with interest.

"What's wrong Ophis-chan?" Liora asked with concern at the sight of the loli not eating when she was clearly excited to do so a moment ago.

"Odd." Ophis simply said with a minute look of confusion that left Liora a bit confused.

"What did you feel about the cookie Ophis?" I asked the childlike being.

"I want to eat, but don't want to." She answered with a difficult expression.

"*Chuckle* I think that's because you feel proud of having made it. Because it's a cookie made by Ophis." I told her with a small smile as she thought it through.

"Fufufu~ It's ok to eat it Ophis-chan. We can make more cookies the next time. Maybe even other delicious treats." Liora said as she patted the loli's head from the cute contrast of her behavior and near emotionless face.

"Hn." The dragon said with a little nod as she finally took a bite of her big cookie.

After swallowing it, a little smile appeared on her face as the entire kitchen stopped to look at the cute show happening in silence to not distract the loli from discovering the joys of eating your own hard work for the first time.

It's something that every chef and adult has gone through after all. It's quite a precious experience.

The dragon began taking more bites as she worked on the cookie until none was left.

Looking at her empty hands, she began contemplating.

"Was the cookie you made tasty Ophis?" I asked her.

"Hn." She answered with an affirmative nod.

"That's good. So do you want to eat the rest now? We can keep them for later or you can even share it with Jack or Liora." I suggested.

"Share? Why?" She asked with hints of confusion and possessiveness.

"Well, because sometimes sharing what you make with others can make you feel like you ate a delicious cookie and how it felt to look at the cookie you made at the same time." I tried to explain as she hadn't fully learnt emotions yet, so I associated it with the most recent impacts.

The black haired loli began to think, until she picked up one of the three remaining cookies, looked at it for some time as the staff waited with baited breath at her decision.

"How about just giving her half, or a piece of it?" I then suggested to ease her internal struggle between trying to see if she could actually feel what I said she could and having more cookies.

Her expression lit up as if enlightened and she broke off about a third of it, then held it out for Liora.

The expression on her face made the female staff nearly squeal as Liora beamed at the cuteness.

"Thank you Ophis-chan." Liora said as she tried the cookie and let a warm smile spread on her face. "Oh my. That is very tasty Ophis-chan! Good job!"

The warm and enthusiastic praise from Liora, along with her smile seemed to make Ophis really feel something as she pat her little chest before looking at her cookie then around her to see everyone smiling. The dragon loli then turned and approached me before breaking another piece and offering it.

"Oh, thank you Ophis." I kindly said to her as I took the chunk, then made a white chocolate chip cookie appear and handed it to her. "Since you're such a kind girl, I thought I should give you my own cookie as a trade."

Her eyes lit up in interest and curiosity at the 'different' cookie, then watched me intently as I ate the part she gave me.

It honestly was pretty good, likely thanks to Liora guiding them and fixing some of their mistakes to make sure they had a nice experience, but I still smiled and told the loli that it was delicious regardless.

I then gave her a head pat for being a 'good girl' which made her freeze before bringing one of her little hands up to feel where mine had been with widened eyes.

Ophis was like that for a bit before I scooped her up and packed away all the cookies so she could have them once she was finished with her thoughts and Jack could have her's after waking up.

I thanked Liora for her time before taking my leave. The chef told me to bring the two loli's back anytime, as the staff supported the statement before Liora turned into her dictator mode for them having been slacking.

Bringing the two of us to where Eresh and Jack was, I found my lover being hugged by the sleeping spirit as she gently passed her hand through her short white hair while reading a book and slowly helping the thousands of spirits within Jack became ready for a proper afterlife.

Not making much sound, I took a seat and simply placed the pensive Ophis on my lap, letting her think about all these new things she had been feeling.

It took an hour before Ophis snapped out of it, looking around at where we were before she then focused on what was happening to Jack.

A few hours later Jack herself stirred with a warm and peaceful smile on her face, snuggling into Eresh's embrace before she finally began waking up.

"Mother?" She asked with a bit of confusion.

"Yes dear, mommy is still hear." Eresh softly said back.

"Mother!" Jack called out as she possessively hugged the blonde.

And just like that, we officially gained two new members in our house.

Both rather unique in their own way.

EXTRA AUTHOR NOTES:

I'll be honest, I did not expect this to be a whole chapter in of itself, but it just kind of flowed out and I somehow wrote the murder loli and Dragon God loli having a fun baking time in the middle of fluff, slice of life and mildly emotional stuff.

I was supposed to recruit some people and get to twentieth century, but I guess that's gonna wait a bit.

Anyway, here's some explanations:

While Ophis is old and has some wisdom, she is essentially a 'blank' to me. She wandered the earth but never was able to have experiences outside of being feared or worshipped by people she never cared about, so nothing ever lastingly imprinted itself on her. This makes her akin to a child in many ways since I believe that without some inborn mental disorders or biological differences, children are born 'blanks' that will be shaped by everything around them whether it be parents, friends, school, tv, activities, games, books, their Town/city/country, and religions. Ophis had none of that, so Lith approaches her like an intelligent child who was never able to relate to others but is now being shown what 'normal' is.

It's weird, but that's pretty much how I'm doing things for now.

Lith shows her his views on 'silence' and 'noise', while introducing her to 'living', while she thinks about what she is taught and asks directly even if people wouldn't necessarily understand without knowing her and being able to read the minute changes in her expressions.

I think I'm doing Ophis right.

As for Jack, well she is acting basically like how all those souls dreamed their lives should have been. Being able to innocently enjoy warmth, little things like cookies, someone caring and love.

This part was coming out more because Lith took out a great amount of the 'negativity' from her, allowing her to have a much less instinctive violence as her 'solution' or 'response'. This let her act more like a normal girl.

Ereshkigal accepting Jack as her daughter is because of a few things. The first being that as mentioned, she is the goddess of death, spirits, the afterlife and the cycle of souls on Azarath. She instinctively cares for souls and knowingly wishes to help them. So seeing Jack, who is a combination of so many souls which had committed to wrongs but were corrupted regardless, well it tugged on her heartstrings. The second major reason is that she fully understand what Lith wants to do and supports being able to have a child with her lover and helping so many souls getting what they truly deserve. She is a good person on top of great goddess.
