"Using me?" Isabelle chuckled only because it didn't make sense that Wesley would want to use her. What on earth could he possibly gain from asking her out on these dates? Money? Fame? It was just laughable. She would be the one using Wesley if someone was being used here. They both did not have valid excuses on why she shouldn't date Wesley. "Think of a better reason next time Helen. In what world does that make sense?"
"In this world because it's the truth. I would never tell you not to date someone if I didn't have a good reason. I know Wesley a lot more than you do and I know he's using you just to get closer to Eli. Let Eli and Wesley figure out their family dynamic and don't allow him to use you as the middle man," Helen said and at a time like this she wished she could tell the whole truth to her friends but now was not the right time.
