Will you be my friend?

"where are you coming from and who was busy screaming downstairs". Olivia asked on seeing it was Ariana who entered the room.

"it was Mia, I was coming from her room". Ariana replied as she sat down on the bed directly facing Olivia.

"so did you speak to him". Olivia asked.

"speak to whom". she asked frowning.

"I told you to speak to him remember". Olivia said in annoyance. She couldn't believe Ariana forgot about such a thing even though she was with him all day.

"I'm sorry, don't worry I'll talk to him on the bus tommorow". Ariana said apologetically.

"okay I believe you". Olivia said as she gave Ariana a tight hug.

The next morning after breakfast everyone packed their bags and headed downstairs to the bus stop and at exactly 12 noon the bus was ready to leave

as everyone entered one after the other and when Joshua was about to get on Ariana stopped him.

"Joshua wait". Ariana shouted trying to catch her breath.

"what's the matter". he asked as a frown formed on his forehead.

"Joshua can I seat with you on the bus". she asked calmly, staring into his eyes.

HONK! HONK! HONK!.

"Ariana get in we're already late". Evan spoke as he pressed the horn harder interrupting the two.

"excuse me I'll be right back". she smiled akwardly as she walked over to the car.

"Ariana get in we don't have much time". Evan as he opened the door for her.

"Evan I can't go with you". she says in a low voice.

"why is anything the matter?". he asked confused why she would change plans at the last minute.

"Evan I'm taking the bus with Joshua and my friends". she replied.

"okay it's fine I'll see you by weekend". he says trying to control the raging jealous growing within him.

"I promise to make it up to you okay". she said as she waved him bye and walked back to meet Joshua, who was smiling mischievously at Evan.

"can we get on now". Ariana said interrupting Joshua.

"sure". he smiled as he held Ariana's hand deliberately for Evan to see as he gritted his teeth.

"I'm doing this for Olivia only for her". she muttered softly loud enough for Joshua to hear as he reluctantly let go of her hand.

"so you're doing this for Olivia right". Joshua frowned.

"everyone get seated the bus will depart now". Miss Ann announced as the bus started moving from the bus stop and headed down the dusty road to the highway.

"Joshua listen I want you to understand Olive, she really likes you". Ariana said.

"but i don't like her". he replied annoyed as why Ariana will come as a speaker for her friend.

"you could at least try, she really likes you". Ariana pleaded.

"fine but only on one condition". he smirked.

"you'll agree to be my friend, will you my friend?". he asked staring deeply into her eyes.
