In the cafeteria, Freddy and Amber sat opposite each other when Freddy suddenly spoke

"So, how long are we going to do this for?" He asked raising a brow.

"What do you mean?" Amber asked.

"I'm talking about us? Our relationship?" He stated as he slammed his hand on the table.

"Calm down Freddy, I thought we talked about this." She frowned.

"I know but everyone is becoming suspicious of us." He stated.

"I don't think I can keep lying to them." He continued.

"Fred, just a little more time and we'll tell them." She pleased.

"Why? Why are you hiding our relationship?" He questioned, trying to stop himself from yelling.

"It's... it's because of you." She blurted out, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Me?" He repeated, confused.

"Yes, you're Joshua's cousin and all the girls will go after you too." She explained.

"Oh really! So you think not telling everyone will make a difference?" He asked as Amber stared at him surprised at his sudden outburst.

"You're popular like Joshua and the girls...I overheard a girl in the restroom saying that she wants to make you hers." She explained ,bowing down her head avoiding his gaze.

"Amber look me!" He commanded, as Amber slowly looked up to face him.

"Amber we need to tell everyone about us soon and I mean very soon." He spoke, with seriousness in his voice.

"No, we can't now...I just need a little more time." She pleaded.

"Fine have all the time you want but until you decide to tell everyone about us, I think we should have a break." He stayed as he got to his feet.

"What! Are you breaking up with me?" She panicked.

"No! But it seems you don't like us been together? So that's why you're hiding the true identity of our relationship right?" He asked in a broken voice.

"No you're mistaken."

"No, I'm not! And don't think of speaking to me or trying to come after me until you decide to tell everyone about us." He said and left.

"Freedy where are you coming from?" Joshua asked, once he entered the room.

"Urm...I'm coming from the cafeteria." He replied, shutting the door behind him.

"Oh really? And not with Amber?" He asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

"Amber? Why would I be with her?" He asked, ignoring Joshua's question.

"I don't know but I just have this strong feeling that something is going on between you two...right guys?" He spoke, as the other two nodded their heads in agreement.

"Nothing is going on between us...I just went to have a midnight snack." He replied.

"Midnight snack? Since when Freddy? You don't eat after midnight?" He yelled at his cousin.

"I...I just felt...like eating." He stammered, nervous as the three stared at him with suspicion in their eyes.

"You are coming from the caf right?" Joshua asked and Freddy slowly nodded.
