She's your new girl right?

"if you don't mind me Mason...I'll like to ask why you're here in place of their parents?" He asked.

"Principal sir...you see their parents are on a business trip so I had to fill in for them." He replied firmly, adjusting his suit.

"That's nice, well your cousin Joshua has been causing a whole lot of drama lately, so I'll like for you to have a word with him because the next time he does this again he'll be on a month's suspension." The principal stated as Mr Mason nodded.

"Sure."

"If there's nothing else I'll take my leave." Mr Mason said as he stood up to his feet and after shaking hands with the principal he exited the office with Ariana and Joshua.

"Thanks uncle...I thought you wouldn't agree to the plan." Joshua said as he breath a sigh of relief.

"Why wouldn't I? You know you're my favorite nephew?" He chuckled, patting his back when he suddenly noticed the girl standing beside him and he narrowed his eyes at her and said

"What's your name girl?" The man asked as Ariana widened her eyes in surprise.

"He's talking to me?" She squealed in her head.

"Urm... Ariana...my name is Ariana." She replied nervous.

"Ariana?" He repeated her name, as if trying to digest it.

"Nice to meet you, you must be Joshua's girlfriend right?" He asked smiling sweetly.

"Girlfriend?" She said almost chocking.

"Sir, he's just a classmate of mine." She replied.

"Oh! I'm sorry I didn't mean to." He apologized.

"No need sir, thanks for your help I really appreciate, I'll head back to class now." She said and left leaving the two alone.

"So she's your new girl right?" His uncle asked once Ariana was out of sight.

"Don't lie because if she wasn't your girl...you wouldn't do this for her." He stated.

"Uncle... She told you we are just classmates." He reminded but his uncle chuckled.

"Classmates? Stop this rubbish!"

"What are you talking about?" Joshua asked as he creased his brows in confusion.

"Josh, you like her...I can see it in your eyes, the way you look at her." His uncle said as he patted his shoulder.

"Uncle...I don't like her." He replied firmly.

"Okay if you say so but just remember one thing and it is to listen to your heart." He smiled.

"I'll leave now, help me tell Freddy I came over."

"Sure."

Joshua got back to class and sat down on his seat beside Jake when jaske suddenly whispered.

"Did it go well?"

"Urm... yes my uncle settled everything." Joshua replied.

"Oh sure."

"Class!" Miss Ann's voice interrupted the two as they looked forward to face her.

"I've observed and also noticed that most of you in this class don't get along...so I've decided to have a new seating arrangement." She declared as the class mumured amongst each other.

"Class quiet!" She commanded as the class went silent.

"Mia! Jake! Stand up now and exchange your seat." She said as they hurriedly did what they were told to do.

"Olive stand up and move to Joshua's seat and Joshua move to Olive's seat."

"And no complaints."
