"what!". She exclaimed, taking a step out of the umbrella. A droplet of rain touched her skin as she flinched.

"Yes... I like you so much". He said again. "There's nothing going between Bella and I".

"Sarah look at me and tell me the truth".

"I don't understand". She stared at him.

"that you like me too or don't you". He said as he drew her closer to his chest.

"What!I mean...I don't understand anything, i need sometime to clear my head". She said.

"I need to leave". She said taking to her heels.

JAKE'S POV:

I was walking back from the library when I bumped into Olive who was crying.

"Are you crying". I asked as she shook her head and hurriedly wiped her tears.

"Crying? I'm not crying, something got into my eye". She lies as she smiled nervously.

"Olive you don't need to lie, I know something happened". I stated.

"Jake do you consider me as your friend". She asked holding both my hands as she looked at me with all sincerity in her eyes.

"Yes Olive". I replied.

"Then you should tell me the truth". She said which made me confused.

"What truth?".

"Is there any girl in Joshua's life". She asked as I looked at her stunned. I couldn't believe this, she and Joshua but what can I say this wasn't the first time some girl had come to me asking such question but I had not expected this from her.

I took a deep breath. "Olive there's no one in his life trust me".

"Really". She asked not convinced.

"I'm telling you the truth".

"Thanks so much". Olive said as she wrapped her arms round me giving me a hug, smiling happily as if nothing had happened.

"Yeah". I said as she broke the hug.

"You want to go get some snacks". She suggested.

"Sure why not". I said as we walked together to the cafe.

SARAH'S POV:

I walked down the lonely pathway leading to the girl's hostel, soaked in the rain.

"I like you Sarah". The confession came back to my mind as I quickened my steps.

"Does he really like me".

"Thanks for coming on this date". Joshua said, opening the door for her.

"Thanks". She smiled.

"I'll speak to Olivia, you don't have to worry". He said.

"Yeah, I should be on my way now". Ariana stated when suddenly Joshua grabbed her by the arm.

"I can drop you off". He offered.

"Umm...okay".

RING! RING!

"Hello". Ariana's voice was heard through the other side of the phone.

"Hi Ariana, are you fairing well?". A familiar voice asked from the other end.

"Yeah and you". She asked.

"I'm good". He replied.

"Are you available this weekend". He asked calmly.

"Sure what's wrong". She asked.

"Nothing much, just want to take you out for a treat". He replied.

"Sure no problem, bye". Ariana ended the call.

"Who called". Joshua asked raising a brow, staring at her suspiciously.

"Oh! It was Evan". She replied smiling.
