As beautiful as the morning sun

ARIANA'S POV:

On Monday morning, I arrived school at 6:45am and after waving bye to my dad. I walked towards the direction of the hostel. I got to room 28 and opened the door. The girls were getting dressed and when they saw me they screamed and ran to hug me.

"how was your weekend". Sarah asked.

"it was fine and you all".I asked smiling at the others.

"yes it was good, we all missed you". Amber replied.

"okay it's my treat for suddenly ditching you girls, I had to go it's important". I said but immediately Olive walked out of the room holding her bag.

"what's wrong with her?". I asked the others.

"she's been moody since she came back from classes on Friday". Sarah explained.

"anyways it's no problem when she's ready she'll tell you". Amber spoke and we left for the hall.

OLIVE'S POV:

I walked out of the room annoyed at the scene which was played in front of me. I just hate her, she stole Joshua from me, I sobbed seating on one of the benches under the tree when a hand tapped my shoulder.

"hey Olive, why are you crying?". Jake asked crouching down to my level holding my hands.

"it's nothing". I cried the more.

"how can I tell him that I'm crying over what can never be mine". I thought and looked up to meet his worried and sincere eyes.

"mmm... Jake I need to leave". I said releasing my hand from his. I was about to leave when I heard a voice from behind:

"you can talk to me if you need to, just consider me as a friend". Jake said dipping his hands into his front pockets and left.

"friends". I repeated and laughed walking towards the hall.

ARIANA'S POV:

Everyone arrived at the hall before 8:00am has instructed by the house masters. I sat down with the girls (except Olive) at the 4th row since we didn't arrive that early.

The principal got to the stage and the microphone was immediately given to her.

"I welcome all the new students once again". she began and everyone clapped.

"It's time for our activities of the year programme, as for the students of this school who have already know, I'm glad to say this but this time around there is a change of plan only the year 12 class will be going on the activity programme this year and it's compulsory for both old and new students". the principal said and walked down the stage.

JOSHUA'S POV:

I stared silently as the principal addressed the students but to be honest I knew about every single detail before anyone because I was the who came up with the idea it's always good to have connections with the board of directors, I smirked looking at the row where Ariana sat down with her friends, staring and couldn't help but mutter:As beautiful as the morning sun.

Wait are you kidding me? what's wrong with me ?I asked. I must be taking this game to far?. I said rubbing my temples when I noticed Jake staring at someone who I couldn't possibly see well due to the far distance between us but when I looked further I saw Olivia, why was Jake looking at Olivia?
