A Rare-Type Gacha

What is going on? this can't possibly be my normal strength. My hands were shivering in thrill until the odd red aura around me disappeared.

I covered myself from the dust and saw how Lucy had fired a rocket at the creature that I had blasted away. My punch contained so much power that I actually managed to send that thing flying like rubble can!

"Don't get distracted, Brand! we will talk about that later! let's finish it off, it should be weak now!" Lucy yelled towards me, she's right... right now is not the moment... I don't know what this power is, I can only assume it is related to Sonasha, perhaps another blessing that she left for me.

"Stand back, I'll crush this motherfucker!"

This beast won't be able to take another one of those blows, I don't know how it worked, but it worked. With all due confidence, I ran towards the monster; it was staggering after receiving two impacts from the rocket launcher. It has to be in its last straws, enough for me to execute it with my newfound strength.

I lunged at the monster and swung towards its burnt hideous body with my punch prepared!

Lucy, Saeko and I gasped with incredulous faces each.

My knuckles felt like I hit the strongest steel wall... not only I didn't blast that bastard away as I did before, but the punch actually hurt me!

The claws sliced through my abdomen, tearing my flesh and sending a sharp stinging pain through my pain receptors right into my brain. The amount of blood told me that this wound wasn't a light one... this shit is deep.

"BRAANDD!!!!" I heard Lucy's hectic voice by my side, coupled with Saeko's.

My body hurled away and I fell heavily on the ground, spitting blood and ridiculously enough, thinking about my life choices. I tried to stand up but didn't have the strength to.

There is too much blood... shots are fired from different locations. Saeko, Lucy and Hirano, everyone was shooting at the creature.

"SAEKO, STAY THERE DON'T COME!" When I saw her coming I yelled immediately, if that thing did this to me, I don't even want to imagine what it will do to her.

She was reluctant but accepted nonetheless, I got on my back, purchased a loaded high-calibre m4 and started firing at the creature's face, it was so close to me.

With so many people firing at it, I could see it was in its last moments. Nevertheless, the creature clutched and… did something even more ridiculous. It started to drink my blood!

"Bastard, you like how it tastes?! Lucy fire another one!"

"I don't have any more rockets and you're too close!"

Shit, this situation couldn't be any worse, this beast is now drinking my blood, the guys are going to come from the building at any moment now but what can they do? I was going to create another rocket for Lucy when it happened.

The red aura started to appear around the creature that drank my blood like a thirsty dog in the desert and much to my stupefaction; I saw how spikes began to grow in its body, it's size turned robust and the previously white bloody fur started turning black. If before the bullets were struggling to pierce its skin, now they were bouncing like pebbles crashing against a steel wall.

'You're kidding me'.

Hollow notified me of words that I didn't want to see or hear.

After every single drop was cleaned from the pavement, it looked at me, hungry and wanting more. My skin paled, and I looked at Lucy who was cluelessly staring at me, she is going to run at any moment, I know... trying to stop this thing from devouring me.

Saeko is much the same, I can't allow that. What can I do, what can I do?!

It took me less than a second to think of a solution. I have 2032 gacha points.

'There is nothing else I can do… we can't kill this thing by ourselves' I grit my teeth and hoped for the best.

"Hollow! Pull a rare summon gacha and a rare weapon gacha!" This is the only solution... I either summon someone that can kill this thing, or get a weapon that can kill it, one or the other... right now I can only depend on my luck!

This time it was different, I felt as if the atmospheric pressure increased drastically and the world all around me seemed to slow down as the words of the system turned golden and eye-catchy.
