1 Geography Class

This is the first chapter of high school influencers. I'm not good with English however that doesn't stop me from sharing cool stories with you guys, comment below and vote that will mean a lot to me so much. Any grammatical error is fine to comment I'm not an island of knowledge.

Mercedes and the rest of the students checked the school ruins as they typed on their iPad, a cool Monday morning where everything seems to jeopardize the peace of the school premises it happen the water coverage from the back must have had some fault without the school notice during the weekend the water coverage flooded the entire school the most affected area was the school warehouse so the principal had instruct the head girl to take with her a few students to supervise all the ruins before the truck come packed it up.

  Mercedes have some sorts of issues with Monday's she doesn't like Monday not only was there going to be submitting of assignments most of the teachers thinks the only way to solve their home problems is to pass them to the student by giving tests without informing the students earlier, not only did Mercedes had loved the idea to check out the reef ruin she took it as a great opportunity to gossip and tell stories that must have happened on the blogs or which designer outfit Kylie Jenner had worn and posted on Instagram.

Another fun about it was the boys changing room that was opposite the warehouse, of course, she normally spends alone time in the warehouse cause it had a mini library from the main library of the school which was a distance from the classroom almost outside the school premises so student finds it easy to use the mini-library to get the book for study or get their assignments done without having to leave the school entirely except there was night class or evening lesson the bigger library was good and big enough to spend the night before the early walkers who must have used the excuse of attending night class to attend one of blasting and nasty night party in the boys' apartment just opposite the school, Jack was known as the king of Bad Boys abbreviated as KBB,

probably because he was a rich kid it happens he always gets away with everything as far as it doesn't bring them on campuses, his apartment was just four miles from the main campus located in his father mansion. Words had traveled his father had donated half a billion into the school funds so he's likely a prince or some Sort of royalty to KINGSTON HIGH.

It took like three hours before the second-period bell rang just thirty minutes from break period, well Mercedes had heard the news while she wasn't in class there was a new student named Kamari that just came in from California to join the west African examination council. Khloe gave her all the details as they take the stairs that lead to their classroom, Mercedes is known as the queen of the school, she's the head girl and now the school presidential election is up for the students to sign up not only has anyone dare to signup for the list, she smiled as she walked past the post office her names was the only name still on the board well no one has dared to compete with her.

The geography teacher was already in class so they just had to walk in without saying a word, Mercedes doesn't share her seat with anyone it happens Kamari was already on her seat opening her textbook ready to take a lesson from the teacher. They exchanged looks immediately she knew she must be the new girl what annoys Mercedes was her friend Khloe did not mention she was very pretty.

"I think you must have mistaken my seat," Mercedes said still standing other students kept glaring at them now calling the attention of the teacher.

"I will not tolerate any distraction I am sure is a seat for two- Mercedes immediately cut in reminding the teacher she does not share her seats regarding the fact she is the head girl.

"You can share with me Nick doesn't take geography class" Jack interjected adjusting so Kamari could come over, Kamari hesitated for a while the look on the teacher's face wasn't defending the fact she first got here she had to pack the stuff and went over to jacks, the student looks became wilder most of it were cocky and the other was just smile of gossip tugging on they'd lips. The teacher cleared her throat to get the attention of the student right as it was before Mercedes walked in.

"Jack D' Matthew if you know in the middle of my class you're going to mess it up for me I think you should use the door" the rest of the students turn to him again this time Kamari had to look at him sternly he was confused because he doesn't take geography too I think maybe cause Kamari was in the class since morning he doesn't feel he had to leave the class.

"I think I might have an A this semester someone can't acquire that if he keeps leaving the class," he said indirectly yet politely, the teacher adjusted her glass down giving him a look not only does she doubt him she feels he's up to something.

"Now you have to make geography interesting" Mercedes cut in from her angle contacting her eyes with Jack.

"Geography is a very interesting subject" Kamari replied looking directly at Mercedes she could feel the tension the entire classroom looked like they were been scared on behalf of her maybe she was the goddess or something even the teacher seems she had to avoid her.

"I wasn't talking to you freaky California girl" Mercedes shades Kamari.

"Everyone quiet!!!" The teacher screamed at top of her voice, the class was now back in order again. She flipped her lesson notes before taking the marker turned to the whiteboard then write

"Due to the fact most of you did pretty bad last time test I had decided to cancel it since we have a new student... what's your name again," she asked still her eyes did not gaze at Kamari rather on her lesson note, Kamari quickly reintroduced herself again, Mercedes looked so irked about it.

"Thanks, Kamari, we all know what transportation means and what communication means without going far Kamari and I just communicated, passing information or data from one source to the other, I'm going to dictate my note pls if you can't write fast pair with someone who can I'm not going to repeat myself more than twice like I said the last test is cancel" she was still talking when students start exchanging their seats although Mercedes did not instead Khloe went to her.

The class took forty-five minutes she ended it with an assignment before asking Kamari to assemble it for her office first thing the next morning, she said Kamari can be in charge of her WhatsApp group chats any information she wants to give out Kamari can easily pass it out to the rest of the class.

"First day in school and Mrs. Seattle likes you she hardly likes anyone," Jack said softly to Kamari, she took her notes as it looks like he was done copying them.

"I like her too maybe you guys misunderstood her she's kind, besides geography is my best subject" she was now arranging her books Jack kept looking at her.

"I can drop you off if you want, I'm a wack when it comes to geography thanks to you I finish the notes I should repay you" Kamari smiled almost ready to leave the class.

"Thanks, Jack, I can find my way besides you offer me your space I should make sure I get my own space so as not to inconvenience Nick, see you tomorrow" she walked out of the class Jack was still looking at her until she finishes at the door, Mercedes coughed so he can notice she's standing right next to him.

"You took geography class because of her do you have any idea how hard this subject is last time you almost got an F if not for me I am pretty sure she's not that smart just a little hype from Mrs. Seattle soon enough you will get bored of her" Jack chuckle took his bag without saying a word to her.
