4 Nekomata Yokia; Cat Sisters

The mornings of the contractor are always earlier.

It has been one week since I became a contractor, and many things have changed significantly from my previous life.

First of all, Rias-san and Scáthach started living in my house.

Originally, this house was supposed to be an apartment where my parents would live, but since my parents were currently living alone due to work circumstances, it was not a problem.

And our daily routines have also changed significantly.

Firstly, I had many opportunities to learn various things from Rias-san and Scáthach.

Rias-san became my tutor for entrance exam studies, and my progress in studying for exams has improved significantly. On the other hand, Scáthach taught me how to protect myself, mainly focusing on using the contract I possess for battles.

"Well, I guess I should consider myself lucky that I can do various things thanks to the contract," I said while looking at the cardboard box in front of me, wearing a smile on my face.

Inside that cardboard box were two cats, one black and one white, soaked with water. I was using the towel I had to warm their bodies.

Earlier, unexpected heavy rain started while I was on my way home from school, and I was surprised when I found these two cats floating in the box in the river on my way back.

Thanks to the training I had received, I managed to save the two cats somehow. But since they might catch a cold, I hurried back home.

"Speaking of which, both of you said you couldn't come back today."

Today is an unusual day when neither of them is here within this week.

The reason is that Rias-san didn't contact her family since then, so she said she would be late because she needed to explain the situation and being chosen by the contract.

On the other hand, Scáthach said there was something she was concerned about and needed to investigate.

If there's an emergency, she can be summoned immediately using the contract, but if that's the case, it would be my first time having a meal alone in a while.

"Maybe I'm actually a lonely person?"

I didn't feel this lonely until now, but within a week, it has become natural for me to have them around, and I didn't expect to feel this lonely. Meeting these two cats like this was truly fortunate, I think.

"Well then, now that we're here, maybe I should take a bath. You two should also avoid catching a cold like this."

Saying that, I was about to take them out of the cardboard box, but the white cat somehow curled up and didn't come out.

"Hurry up, or you'll catch a cold."

As I said that, the black cat had already appeared in front of the bathroom entrance without me noticing, meowing.

"It's strange how they're completely opposite. But, be patient for a little longer."

I said that and gently cradled the white cat in my arms. Then I took off my school uniform, quickly changed into a shirt and pants that could get wet, and entered the bath.

"Hmm, what's the matter?"

As I slowly filled the bathtub with water, the white cat had a relieved expression, but the black cat, for some reason, seemed dissatisfied as it looked at the pants.

"It's a bit strange. Anyway, let's wash you one by one."

I said that and proceeded to wash the two cats in order. The white cat was cooperative and didn't take much time, but the black cat meowed in dissatisfaction whenever there was something it didn't like, so I had to wash it again multiple times.

"It's kind of funny. Why does the black cat want me to focus on washing its chest?"

I had that question in mind, and while the white cat had its face lowered, the black cat meowed as if it were satisfied.

"Well, it's about time for me to take a bath too. You two should stay in this bathtub; I don't want you to drown."

Saying that, I guided the cats into the bathtub, and then I undressed, taking off my shirt and pants. Suddenly, the black cat let out a loud noise.

"W-What's wrong?"

I didn't understand what was happening, but when I looked, the black cat had its eyes widened as if it had never seen something like this before, while the white cat turned its face away.

"I don't really get it. Well, it doesn't matter."

Saying that, I entered the bath and enjoyed it for a while. However, for some reason, the black cat in the bathtub suddenly jumped out.

"Did something startle you?"

I wondered, and I quickly looked at the black cat, only to find a naked woman with black hair standing there.

I had seen a naked woman twice before, but I was still frozen and not used to it. However, the woman didn't pay attention to my reaction and entered the bath, licking my face.

Even while Shirone-chan and I were talking, Kuroka continued to hug me tightly and never let go.
