19 Undead Knights (Part 1)

The room glowed in an eerie light as Azaroth drew his dagger out of the last Terrorza, blood and brain matter pushing out of the opening- Azaroth spun his dagger in the air and the blood was removed from the blade, the dagger resting in his palm cleanly.

'I didn't level up?' Azaroth thought with a slightly deflated expression.

Azaroth smiled as he clutched his dagger tightly and began walking once again, as soon as he left the room- he was met with infinite darkness… like the C-grade special boss but Azaroth didn't have a problem with the darkness. His eyes glowed as he poured his Haki into them; he had long since mastered the ability to see in such darkness.

Malevolent aura sprouted from the ground and two human-like ghosts emerged from the ground, clad in armor

'Undead Knight'

Azaroth's smile faded, he hadn't seen such a monster before but that wasn't what shocked him- their names were… Red?

"This is different from any other dungeon I've been in," Azaroth muttered under his breath.

The power measurement was calculated by the maximum stats that Azaroth possessed- not by his skills. But he hadn't expected that a ghost even had more stats…

Azaroth entered a combat stance and pushed off the ground, heading to the closest soldier- he unleashed his full speed and was literally a blur. Yet, Before Azaroth could actually land a slice- the Knight moved to the right and dodged his slash skillfully.

'Truly I haven't faced opponents like this before,' Azaroth thought as the second soldier was already beside him, swinging the big ass sword covered with ghostly energy toward his face yet Azaroth's instincts were faster as he blocked the attack, sparks flying in the air.

The first Knight slammed his foot into Azaroth's face, pushing the Gremory backward and slamming him into a wall of the dungeon much to Azaroth's dissatisfaction.

'Their speed…'

They advanced toward him quickly but Azaroth was determined not to be outdone, he quickly slammed his fists together and four large bat-like wings emerged from his back, his entire body was filled with a demonic aura as his blue orb-like eyes let off an eerie glow.

The Knights stopped momentarily but resumed their rush nevertheless, Azaroth on the other hand was grateful for the fact that not only had he gotten his Devil wings- but he had four of them… despite being the weaker twin.

Azaroth pushed off the ground, his body disappearing into the air like a blur as he clashed mid-air with the Knights, shockwaves echoing through the battlefield as the ground rippled under intense impact.

The First Knight brandished it's blade, aiming to slash Azaroth as many times as possible but the Gremory dodged it, using his short stature and superior speed as an advantage. Despite his transformation, the red names were still proof that they were still stronger than him.

Azaroth didn't want to use magic much as he was trying to push himself to the limits, using magic to solve every problem in his path was one of the greatest mistakes Azaroth could make.

The Second Knight phased into existence beside Azaroth and threw it's fist forward but Azaroth weaved through the attack effortlessly although he was a little bit out of breath.

"It's my turn now, huh?" Azaroth said with a crazy grin as he immediately punched the First Knight, a shockwave erupting with maximum force, enough to push the Second Knight back by ten meters.

Golden sparks of lightning burst to life around Azaroth's fist and the First Knight, the shockwave that followed was more intense than the first- a testament to the power packed within Azaroth's punch and the First Knight was sent soaring backward and crashing into the dungeon wall, it's back being engraved deeply into the strange yet hard substance.

Azaroth could only muse at the sight as he looked at his fist, slightly disoriented and burned from the collision- It was a move he called the Gold Flash.

Yeah just so you knew, it was a rip-off from the Black Flash but who cared about that in a world where Black Flash didn't exist-? There was no Copyright that could hold him here.

Unlike the Black Flash, The Gold Flash is a combination of demonic magic and Azaroth's bolts of truth spell to create a perfectly refined force and this was also affected by his Divergent flow- a good example of that was when he struck the first knight with a blow packed with maximum strength and speed, that was enough to knock the wind out of the First knight- but his Divergent flow caught up, and the bolts of truth started amalgamating with the demonic energy to create the perfect force for the Gold flash and that was when it happened- Gold Flash!

The First Knight's armor sparked with golden lightning, the clear aftermath of the move was something that could not be denied but Azaroth gave a small smile.

"Unlike the Black Flash, as long as I have enough Will, I can spam this attack," Azaroth said and pushing his Dagger into the Inventory.

But one obvious downside of the Gold flash was the fact that it harmed him too, he was not only attacking the physical form but the soul itself and coming in such close proximity with one's soul would harm him too BUT Azaroth didn't care about the little damage that was caused by using Gold Flash- as long as he could defeat these Knights and advance to the Boss.

Azaroth prepared to move, his goal was finishing off the first knight and then heading onto the second.

"One more Gold flash will do," Azaroth muttered under his breath as he propelled toward the First Knight, it's sword lay far away from it and Azaroth assumed unless it had the ability to use a telekinetic power to summon it's sword- there was no way it would be able to react in time.

His gaze although it wasn't on the second Knight, his Haki never stopped observing it- and he saw a brilliant manifestation of energy heading toward him. Azaroth couldn't help but snicker as he snapped his fingers, the slash attack dissipating.

It was a ranged attack… which could easily be dispersed by Azaroth's haki.

Azaroth slowly walked over to the First knight, it had not moved from it's original position and Azaroth could feel that it was trying to gather it's bearings. The Second Knight's figure trembled and Azaroth's grin widened as he observed this.

He quickly pulled the first Knight out of the wall and raised it into the air.

"Do you care about this Knight?" Azaroth asked.

He swore that the Knight nodded slowly and his grin widened as well.

"Do you want me to spare him?" Azaroth asked, his voice growing cold.

The Second Knight nodded this time and Azaroth's smile faded, only being replaced by a cold look.

"Sadly your deaths are needed for my salvation," Azaroth said and smashed the first Knight into the ground, his right fist quickly slammed into the back of the knight, web-like cracks spreading across the ground.

'Gold Flash!'

The room lit up in a golden light as shockwaves spread through the entire room.
