To The Limit

[You have leveled up!]

[You have leveled up!]

Azaroth stood amongst multiple corpses, his body riddled with wounds but the monsters were dead… his eyes were closed shut but the Monster Slayer dagger let off a white hue.

Pouring Demonic Haki into the Monster Slayer blade created certain unison of forces; the speed and damage that the blade dealt were increased even more.

Azaroth stood up and brandished his dagger.

"Heh, you think that an army of monsters will be enough to beat me," Azaroth said as he took one step after another to the boss, his eyes opened and they released a bright blue glow.

The room seemed bright now, no to Azaroth, he could see everything… His Demonic Haki was providing him light, he could see it, he could see the Skeleton head.

As Azaroth took another step forward, a golden heavenly aura surrounded him and all of his wounds healed quickly. The C-grade boss's eyes glowed and Azaroth shot forward, defying the forces of speed itself as he turned into a blur.

He closed the distance between himself and the boss rather quickly, golden bolts of lightning bursting to life around his fingertips as he quickly shot a thunderbolt toward the boss.

The magic dispersion spell worked and Azaroth's Bolt of Truth vanished but Azaroth wasn't done, his Demonic Haki was being compressed into his Monster Slayer blade… Within the next moment, he leapt into the air and confronted the Boss.

Magic dispersion spells were used to disperse spells made out magical energy but the same thing didn't apply to weapons. Azaroth stabbed into the skull head and the Boss let out a pained cry, Azaroth withdrew the blade and smiled crazily.

'So it works,'

Azaroth stabbed again and again, the blade going deeper with each stab. Azaroth was close to the edge, his body was continuously emitting Demonic Haki.

The boss skeleton glowed and Azaroth pushed off the boss, multiple glowing orbs of magical energy appeared around the boss and shot to Azaroth.

His maniac grin widened as he waved his right palm at the balls of magical energy, Demonic haki covered them and on Azaroth's command, they were destroyed much to the Boss's surprise.

Demonic Haki was created after forcefully retrieving some of the Destruction elements from POD… so all Azaroth had to do was to pour his POD into his Demonic Haki after trapping the target within and then… it would explode.

Azaroth was finding out multiple ways to use his abilities and a small smile tugged at his lips, he was getting the hang of it.

"Hah!" Azaroth cried out as he landed on the ground, this time he poured the Destructive energy of POD into the Monster Slayer and the blade was highlighted with a red hue.

Thoughts of bringing out the Gauntlet were fresh on Azaroth's mind but he didn't want to be assisted- It was him that was supposed to be defeating the dungeons, not with the help of an Emperor Grade item!

Azaroth brandished his blade as he shot into the air again, the ground quaking under his movements as he stabbed into the boss again, ripples of POD going through the air under the intense force the boss was attacked by.

The skeleton head was ripped apart by the force of the attack and Azaroth landed on the ground, there was no blood after the boss was destroyed but he felt his arm was numb, the strength and reinforcement behind the Skeleton head was something else.

"Isn't that the skill the bos-"

"-s was using,"

I was out of the gate and standing on my bed, the gate quickly dispersed behind me as I landed on the ground. The door immediately swung open and I sighed.

Grayfia entered the room with a basket of clean clothes.

"Azaroth, I did your clo-"

Her eyes were fixated on my destroyed clothes and I swear her gaze sharpened.

"I can explain," I said, I already had an excuse for this.

"Better explain," Grayfia said.

"I was focusing on refining my POD and my clothes started burning off," I said and quickly released my POD, destroying the shirt in the process.

There was a perfectly logical reason behind me doing that, not only did it prove my point but if Grayfia made a more careful analysis on his clothes, she could have easily placed them as slash marks from monsters.

His trouser was not destroyed and there were few brown patches but apart from that, there wasn't much more damage and Azaroth was sure that Grayfia would not be able to placate them as slash marks.

"Okay," Grayfia sighed, "But don't try that again, It's really dangerous and you could burn more than clothes next time,"

POD refinement was such a terrifying process that it had the possibility of destroying even the ground that lay below; it was bad to attempt refining POD in a closed confined space as it could be destroyed.

Even I had not gained such control over POD on my own to refine it in a closed space yet…

I lay back on the bed and smiled.

"I'm feeling really lazy," I said, "I don't feel like training you know,"

"You were the one that told me your dream was to marry me, If you're feeling lazy, you won't be able to get all…"

"All?" I asked.

"Don't you want all of me?" Grayfia asked as she folded my clothes, "If you train and beat me, you can have everything,"

The way she was saying it felt so damn seductive to Azaroth and he was sure he would have gotten a hard-on…

'Status,'

[LEVEL: 18]

[HP – 3500 / 3500]

[MP – 500 / 1000]

[Fatigue – 32]

[STR: 37]

[AGI: 39]

[PER: 36]

[VIT: 35]

[INT: 30]

[Attribute Points: 23]

Azaroth was keeping his Attribute points in check, if he was in a perilous situation where there was little path to victory- Azaroth would throw all of his stats into his STR stat and brute force it.

"Are we even allowed to leave the mansion?" Azaroth asked.

"Yes, you are," Grayfia replied, "It's just that you didn't want to leave since you enjoyed sleeping around all day, you weren't even interested in the outside world,"

Azaroth was not one to question another person's habits but the original was a loser.

"A really big loser," I muttered under my breath.
