13 Outside The Gremory Castle

[A / N: A reader said that this book is getting boring, he's training all the time- so, he's going on a Vacation and taking Grayfia on a date, thank me later]

Azaroth finally decided to take a little vacation from training, heading into town with Grayfia. He had always wondered how the underworld looked and now he had gotten a vast view of the town outside the Gremory castle, the Gremory family didn't live in a mansion like the anime but Azaroth didn't mind it much, A castle was more befitting of a higher hierarchy!

"It feels nice finally taking a break from training," Azaroth muttered under his breath.

He was wearing what his Mom quipped as 'Casual clothes' but in reality, he couldn't afford them in his past life even if he wanted to.

Black overalls with a red robe, they sounded really cheap but Azaroth knew otherwise, Grayfia had told him that the clothes in his room amounted to a lot of gold, he estimated the gold could help an average family get by until they die off and each of them had protection magic which was unfortunately in the Intermediate realm of Magical Realism, Azaroth still hadn't completed his mastery over Beginner spells- He didn't want to jump faster than his shadow, did he?

'I need to get wood spells down,' Azaroth thought.

Lightning spells tended to consume a lot of MP while Bolts of Truth exhausted power from his soul, so a day without training would do wonders for his health or so Grayfia had told him- She didn't like him training 24/7 but there was little Azaroth could do.

There were many opponents coming in the future and Azaroth was truly not prepared to face them off, he was still many years away from the Canon but he didn't want to take his chances. He was brought to this world long before the Canon so he had to grow stronger- It's not like he would gain any Deity grade skill or item that would boost his Combat power to greater lengths.

And he also had to start developing his peerage early, he could dominate rating games and chill in his house with Grayfia so everything was a win-win. He felt a little bit guilty for pulling Rias's peerage apart but she would find people to replace and Azaroth was sure of that.

Besides she could keep Kiba- He didn't need a defective swordsman in his Squad, Kiba was good and he had an OP Sacred gear as well, Swordbirth which allowed him to create swords by draining MP but Azaroth wasn't going to focus on the path of the blade.

'Being a Swordsman is so… I don't know the word,' Azaroth thought.

He felt like it was an overrated tag, he had seen it being used far too many times. Why didn't anyone specialize in Hand-to-Hand Combat like Rock Lee? Of course Azaroth would learn the way of the sword but he felt only when it was needed- Right now, he needed to focus on perfecting his physical abilities and honing his Demonic Haki, Demonic Magic, Limitless (Ahem… Still a working progress) and POD.

They were the forces that he wanted to master first before doing any other thing, because he would be technically invincible after mastering all of these- Even more Invincible if he was able to use all of them at the same time.

As Azaroth and Grayfia walked through the streets, Azaroth saw an Ice-cream stand and gave Grayfia a glance.

"Can we get two?" Azaroth asked.

He was doing the gentle-manly thing, this was not too different from human culture and he was just going for it- Grayfia was his soon-to-be wife after all.

"Alright," Grayfia said and walked to the stand, coming back to him with two cones of Ice-cream.

Azaroth gratefully thanked her and then proceeded to lick his Ice-cream, it had a distinct taste from what he was used to but this was the first time he had tried Ice-cream in the devil world, he could only wonder how it would be in Kuoh or the other towns.

Rias had not been given Kuoh Town as her territory yet and Azaroth still had a lot of time, he didn't want any territory allocated to him less he would have to be watching 24/7 for some fallen angels or Stray devils.

"The breeze is different from that of the Castle," Azaroth said and Grayfia nodded.

"You've been isolated in the castle for a long time- How could it not be different?" Grayfia asked without turning to him.

The streets were bustling with activity and Azaroth himself was surprised, Was he so focused in self-centered training that he forgot he had limitations too? There were stuff that he would achieve and stuff that he couldn't achieve as well, he was dedicated into achieving all of them but would that be enough?

"I guess," Azaroth muttered lowly, "Are there any fun stuff to do around here?"

If he was on a vacation, he might as well enjoy it to the fullest.

"I don't know, I mean there's a new theatre but I don't know if the plays are great," Grayfia said.

Azaroth was genuinely surprised… He was sure that there wasn't supposed to a theatre until- The Perverted Dragon came around and started groping boobs but it seemed that since Sirzechs wasn't around anymore, His father was taking earlier action.

Azaroth didn't trust the plays that Devils could make so he decided against the theatre, but he wouldn't reject something like a restaurant. He could relax his mind and also plan his next steps while having lunch with Grayfia.

"Umm… Wanna have lunch together?" Azaroth asked innocently causing Grayfia to turn her face to the right.

"You haven't beaten me yet," Grayfia replied.

'So she caught on, huh?' Azaroth thought, 'But I'm faster,'

"So having lunch together is illegal now, huh?" Azaroth said while pushing his hand into his pockets and heading backward to the direction of the castle, "Alright, no more breaks for me then- I'm going to train until I'm strong enough to beat you,"

Before Azaroth could take another step forward, Grayfia grabbed his collar and lifted him into the air easily.

"I'm… sorry," Grayfia said with a slightly deflated expression, "Take it easy Azaroth, I know you're trying really hard to beat me but pushing yourself too hard is only going to do more harm than good,"

Azaroth understood that Grayfia cared a lot about him and was perhaps also developing said feelings even though they were just seedlings now, He didn't want to push her too hard- It hadn't been too long since Sirzechs died and they didn't even have a child together, Azaroth was grateful that she was still a virgin or so he thought.

He cared for her wellbeing, if he pushed himself into mindless training and dungeon raiding- He could grow as strong as Saitama but the time… the time wasted would never come back, that was unless he had a time machine or in this case, Time magic and that would definitely be under the Deity grade.

But that was the least of Azaroth's worries right now, All he wanted to do was to have a good time with Grayfia.

"Alright," Azaroth agreed.
