Azaroth winced in pain but the Merging process finished quickly and the pain faded.
'Whoever reincarnated me must have gone through a lot of trouble,' Azaroth thought.
He had read about it in Light novels, One could get Reincarnated if they performed very good deeds or managed to get the attention of the gods.
And as long as Azaroth could remember, He was always average in everything and not a saint. He didn't truly think he was worthy of Reincarnation but the System's mechanical voice knocked him out of his thoughts.

Azaroth shrugged his shoulders, The God of Games was generous and he was thankful for it.
Now he decided to open his System and actually check what kind of services it offered… After equipping the Destruction Gauntlet of course!
He tapped on the 'Equip' tab and the Gauntlet of Destruction appeared on his right hand.
It was a black gauntlet with a shimmering red orb in the middle, and red circuits connecting everything to the orb. The design was amazing.
'I could get used to this,' Azaroth thought.
It felt nice around his palm and didn't restrict the movement of his fingers at all.

Azaroth soon realized this High School DxD was far different from the world he was acquainted with.
Sirzechs Gremory who was supposed to be the Maou of Devils had died… Zeoticus had taken over which had caused a riot that echoed through the Underworld for a few years.
Azaroth couldn't help but feel sorry for Grayfia, They hadn't even been married for that long yet.
Azaroth and Rias were the younger siblings of Sirzechs, and they were twins. When Devils are born as twins, One must have more Magical power than the other and it was exactly the same thing in his condition.
Rias had been born with overwhelming magical reserves and talent for the Power of Destruction.
Azaroth on the other hand had underwhelming magical reserves and his talent for P.O.D was little.
One would think that with Rias having the higher talent, she would be training on how to harness and gain more power but she did little training and neglected everything else, acting like a spoiled Princess.
Zeoticus was far too busy handling the affairs of the Underworld to have time for his daughter and Venelana couldn't reprimand her daughter.
In this world, Devils were given regard according to their power and potential. Why would anyone even bat an eye at someone as useless as Azaroth was?
But all that was going to change, With the System he could grow stronger.

Azaroth quickly noticed that the System was similar to Sung Jin-Woo's System and a small smile tugged his lips.
It was designed to make him grow stronger infinitely by leveling up. It turned an E-rank Hunter into an S-rank Hunter so it could do the same for him.

He gathered his priorities, putting aside his Harem Conquest plans, He had to get stronger. The foes in High School DxD weren't mere pushovers and with Azaroth's current power, He would get defeated by Raynare.
There were many ideas he had for using the Power Of Destruction and he would implement them in this world.
Azaroth stood up from his bed and put on a black shirt atop his blue shorts, It was morning already and time for dinner.
The Destruction Gauntlet adorned his dressing even further as he stepped out of his room and met the gaze of a white haired devil in maid uniform.
"Master Azaroth, good morning to you," Grayfia said with a slight bow.
Azaroth smiled at her. After the untimely death of Sirzechs, Grayfia had been appointed as his Maid by his Mother for his protection.
"Good morning," Azaroth said, She was far more taller than him but Azaroth could see her breasts jiggling, 'Best Uniform ever,'
"Shall we go to the dining room?" Grayfia asked, "Or you want to do something else first?"
"Let's go to the dining room," Azaroth said, tugging on her hand, "Come on, Aunt Grayfia,"

Rias gave Azaroth a superior smile as he ate his food silently, with Grayfia watching over him.
Azaroth ignored the girl's antics and rather focused on the Shopping Interface of the System.
'Mana Potions for restoring MP, Health Potions for restoring HP,' Azaroth thought as he used his mind to scroll through the Shop.
There were many items available and even Weapons too but they cost Gold, something Azaroth didn't have right now.

Azaroth smiled lightly and dismissed the Screen, A daily quest that would give him a steady amount of gold as well as a magic that would heal all of his wounds was amazing although it was only a One-time use magic.
This meant that he could gather it over the course of each Daily mission because he had nothing to use it to heal; He was in a safe place where no one would attack him, So while he was still in the Gremory Household, He could gather the Full Recovery magic.
It was also a good choice to do so as well, Since it was a magic, it could be cast on his allies like Grayfia or his future party members… They could be invincible just because of a Daily Quest.
"Azaroth, I like your glove," Rias said, her voice tinged with honesty.
