A-Grade Dungeon

[Congratulations on Entering an A-grade Dungeon, Goodluck!]

Azaroth had quickly learned that his dungeons adjusted on a basis to his strength, with his current strength- He couldn't be sent back to a D-grade Dungeon… The System was here to remind him that in the grand scheme of things, he had barely become stronger.

If the System was adjusting the dungeon using his strength as a base, he was just as powerful as an A-grade boss- but Azaroth quickly noted that if he used any outside weapons with far higher destructive power than the dungeon like the 'Destruction Gauntlet', even if he did grow stronger- he would repeat the dungeon again and again until eventually he hacked it without using High grade weapons.

"I'm just as strong as an A-grade boss, huh?" Azaroth muttered under his breath, it was not as if he was lagging on his training- no he was doing anything but that… The System was grading him based on his estimated strength.

Azaroth brandished the Monster Slayer as his instincts warned him of an incoming attack, he raised the dagger to the right and blocked a vertical slash from a tiger-like monster.

'HELLTIGER'

It was a monster he had seen in the B-grade dungeons far too many times, a truly despicable creation that had the ability to utilize magic not only to boost it's speed but attacking power as well.

Azaroth stretched his legs a bit and moved forward, his body becoming a blur as he threw a slash forward but the Helltiger evaded it, partly because he wasn't moving at his full speed but this only solidified a single thought-

'The dungeon is different'

The dungeon and the world were two different things; The Exorcist had barely been able to keep up with him and he wasn't going at his full speed anyway but the Helltiger did so- that boasted an incredulous difference between the monsters that existed in the dungeon and the Exorcists as well as other creatures existing in the real world….

Azaroth smiled and moved forward, pushing off the ground quickly as the Helltiger had poured MP into it's feet aiming to move faster. But Azaroth didn't plan on letting it complete the buff, he threw his dagger into his left hand and steadied his eyes- focusing on the point of connection between the foot and the leg itself andhis eyes let off a dim glow.

Azaroth moved even faster than before, his figure becoming a literal blur as four simultaneous slashes echoed through the room. Azaroth landed on the ground and the Helltiger collapsed onto the ground, unable to move.

Azaroth gave a small smile in it's direction as golden bursts of lightning corroded it's entire figure and detonated it, he had combined the Bolts of Truth with his Divergent flow to create such a spell and he was proud of it.

Blood stained the ground and even Azaroth's boots but he couldn't care in the slightest as he took a combat stance.

"You guys are relentless," Azaroth said with a bright smile, his bright features showing his happiness at facing more monsters.

He didn't understand why, but the more he battled- the more he got addicted to the feeling. It was this feeling that allowed him to gain perseverance and patience while training. There were 5 Helltigers and 2 Hob-Goblins but Azaroth was determined to face them off and he was giving himself an obvious disadvantage- he was going at them without applying any POD, Haki or any sort of magic- it was only when he wanted to finish them up, he would use a magical spell.

Azaroth pushed off the ground and it rippled under his feet as he targeted the 2 Hob-Goblins first, the tigers could grant themselves buffs for all he cared but he would be able to dispatch them quickly.

As he closed the distance between himself and the goblins, the tigers grew enraged as he had left them to their devices- ignoring them effectively. They began channeling MP into their feet in order to strike Azaroth down.

'Monsters in the higher dungeons are capable of complex thinking as well as emotions,' Azaroth quickly remembered as he appeared in front of the first Hob-Goblin.

He twisted his dagger as he stabbed into the foot of the Hob-Goblin, angered by Azaroth's movements- It quickly brought down its large weapon and attempted to clobber Azaroth only for the baton to hit nothing but the ground… Azaroth had vanished?

The Hob-Goblin felt some force on it's head only for all the monsters to stare at Azaroth in surprise, he had a crazy smile on his face as he attempted to pluck off the Goblin's head using a single hand.

Veins sprouted on the neck of the goblin as it felt life slowly loosening the hold on it only for death… to tighten it's hold.

Azaroth was successful in his plight, pulling out the Goblin's head with nothing but his hand and sending it rolling across the ground.

As the Goblin's body fell forward, it was set ablaze… crimson flames wrapping around its figure and colliding with the ground, kicking up dust as the flames billowed harder but Azaroth stood unharmed by all this, even as he stood on the back of the Hob-Goblin… his clothes were unharmed, in fact the blood on his shoes were being burned away by the flames.

Azaroth's figure stood as a testament of his insane strength, his hair blowing in the wind that seemed to pick up in the dungeon and the Monster Slayer gracing his fingers.

His eyes befell on the other Monsters and he only let out 4 words before springing into attack.

"It'll be a massacre," Azaroth said as he vanished into thin air.

The Helltigers watched in a mix of fear and amazement as the head of the Hob-Goblin was sent rocketing into the air, a fountain of blood coming from beneath it yet they couldn't perceive Azaroth's figure, but they knew his gaze was on them.

On instinct, they decided to separate from each other but this was what the Demon known as Azaroth was waiting for- his eyes glowing as he snickered. The fastest tiger was the first target, Azaroth kept up with it's speed quite easily and was a little disappointed at the fact it was weaker than expected.

"Alright, Time to stop playing around," Azaroth muttered under his breath.

Author's Note:

This is Azzy's first A-grade dungeon debut so I thought I'd make it cool, although he will eventually show the results of his training later.
