1 Prologue

6 years after Kuryu's casino plan failed to push through, SWORD kept their promise about the agreement. It is in order to make sure that their land and residents are truly safe from whatever challenge it is, coming their way.

Although most of the gangs are peacefully living at their own pace in life, Sannoh Rengokai becomes the most protective of them all. In the span of 6 years, many mafias tried to take over the territory of SWORD, attacking small places secretly at a time. However, everything that happens around them, is always tipped to Cobra first.

The reason why Sannoh Rengokai is always the first to take action. It is then up to Cobra whether or not he would let the other gangs contribute help. This way, they all get the right credit as SWORD members and protectors of their land.

As for the Oya Koukou, Murayama has finally graduated from being the undisputed leader of the part-time school student. His right hands, Seki and Furuya also decided to go the same path he's going to.

His long-time rival, Todoroki was given the chance to lead the members, but he decided to leave behind the Oya Koukou students in the hands of Fujio, stating that. "He is a better leader for all of them."

Just like before, they only mind their business when other high school gangs try to attack them or make trouble. They are also hand-in-hand in battles with their brother gang group Housen after Fujio and Sachio made a deal.

The Rude Boys on the other hand are as quiet as they usually are. Takeshi and P took charge after the death of Smoky. Smoky's legacy still lives in them as they continue to take care of the people in the nameless street.

They are the go-to of Sannoh Rengokai when it comes to the rumors of drugs spreading again across their area. But most of the time they are just working underground in Nameless street.

HEAVEN continues to operate both as a club at night and shelter for rescued women in the morning. As frequently as possible, the Rascals stroll along different streets in the area, hopeful to assist any woman in trouble.

Rocky also offered the SWORD his assistance when it comes to dealing with their long rival gang, Doubt. Who never stops kidnapping girls every now and then even without Kuryu's command.

Finally, Daruma Ikka. Having no activity after their final mission, Hyuga and his gang don't even seem to exist anymore. Having their home located somewhere in the woods near the provincial area, they adapted the quiet and peace.

But somehow, they are able to give their help whenever one gang asks for their assistance. And so, that way the residents still give them respect and recognition as a part of SWORD.

Everything around the SWORD territory is going smoothly and according to plan, until a new mission popped out, out of nowhere after rumors about the release of the nine dragons spread across the area.

Once again the SWORD are needed to work together to maintain the peace and keep the Kuryu out of their territory.

[Present Day]

It's been 20 minutes since Dan started contacting, god-knows-who. Seeing him busily tapping his phone screen and walking back and forth, Tetsu's starting to get worried for him now.

"Where could that guy be?" Dan questions, nobody in particular.

He looked down on his phone before once again tapped on the screen. Then he placed it back against his ears.

"Who are you calling?" Tetsu asked.

He stared at him, watching carefully for a change of his facial expression.

They are on the sidewalk in the middle of nowhere at the moment. Tetsu has just arrived back from his 3 weeks vacation in Beijing, China. He contacted Dan first because first of all, he's missed hanging out with his friend. But also because he wants to tell him something important.

However, it didn't go on as planned after Dan wouldn't stop bugging his phone every now and then.

"He's not answering me." Sadness and worry can be heard in his voice.

"Who are you calling really?" Tetsu repeated the previous question.

"Cobra."

"Cobra?" he squinted his eyes as he questions himself. Why would Cobra not answer calls?

Without any prompt, Dan decided to explain the situation. "Earlier before we met up, Noboru sent me a message. He said that Cobra was looking for me."

Tetsu kept quiet and let the older guy continue.

"But here I am, miss calling him for the last 20 minutes and yet not a single message or reply."

Tetsu scoffed softly before putting his hand on Dan's shoulder. "Maybe Cobra don't need you anymore."

Sudden silence surrounded the two of them after that statement. It left Tetsu smiling at Dan while Dan doesn't look amused in any way.

"Cobra.. don't need me?" he whispered before sighing deeply.

Just then, Tetsu realized his mistake. And he was fast to take it back and make up for it.

"I'm sorry. That's not what I meant," Tetsu said.

Dan felt worse than he was feeling a minute ago and decided to just keep on walking. Not minding Tetsu who was left standing behind him.

"D-dan," Tetsu called, even waving his hand to get his attention.

"Let's just go."

Tetsu mentally face-palmed himself before catching up with Dan.

"I didn't mean that Cobra-"

Dan continued to ignore Tetsu. But the latter won't just keep up with it. So he stopped walking and looked at him.

"Oi!" he calls. Making Dan turn around to look at him.

He walked closer and placed his hand on his shoulder. He gave him a pat before consoling him.

"I didn't mean to say that Cobra doesn't need you anymore. I just want to say that maybe, he already got Yamato or Chiharu to do what he wanted you to."

It was Dan's turn to keep quiet and listen.

"I'm very sure that Cobra always-"

It was at this moment when he saw Cobra riding his motorbike. He came from the direction where they are heading and is driving to the opposite one.

"Oh! Cobra!" both Dan and Tetsu called.

Cobra spared them a glance but didn't say anything and he just continued driving. Following behind him were Yamato and Chiharu riding their own motorbikes.

"Tetsu?!" Chiharu shouted, upon seeing his buddy.

"Chiharu!" Tetsu smiled and waved.

Chiharu managed to wave back at him but just like Cobra and Yamato, he didn't stop. Which made Dan and Tetsu decided to catch up with them.

"Let's go," Dan invited.

Tetsu scratched the back of his neck. "But we don't have our bikes with us."

"Let's just run." Just like that, Dan turned in the direction where the three are going.

"Oi! Don't leave me!" Tetsu ran after him to catch up.
