Jessie led us through the violet smoke filled rooftop until she stopped almost as suddenly as she had begun. Shadows moved in obscurity before us and my heart leapt into my throat as I considered that they may be angels, or worse yet.... Gods. Neither bode well for me.

"Desmond, is that you?" Theseus called out over the noise of battle bringing with him a calming aura of reassurance. The danger had not quite arrived. 

"Hush, you fool. Do you want one of them to find us?" Another figure stated harshly across from him. Taking another step forward to inspect the source of this new voice, I was surprised to find an exact copy of Jessie glaring daggers at Theseus. She stood there nonchalantly with her fist to hip like she had known him for years instead of mere moments. Like an idiot in a comedy spoof, I did a double -even triple- take, swiveling back and forth as I confirmed that both before and behind me, there were in fact two jessie's.
