I allowed my tired and aching muscles to relax into the soft comforter and bed beneath me as I searched the ceiling for answers to questions I had yet to fully form. I kept the partition up in my psyche so as not to annoy Lucifer with my brewing thoughts. Knowing him, he would try to over explain, or alternatively completely dismiss my concerns. 

Restlessly I rolled onto my side, searching instead the room, for which I had been given to sleep, for answers. Lilith had made quick work of my healing, and due to this now frequent necessity, a second bed sat across from me that she would soon occupy. The matching grey comforters and modern aesthetic made me feel like I was in some dystopian future, rather than an apparent millionaire's guest room.
