10 1.7 The First World(Part 2)

Recap of the previous chapter.

The meeting between the main character and Zhang Long. What is happening for them to meet in the hotel room? Did Zhang Mian do something improper to her stepbrother, which leads to her miserable ending? And, Ryan mentioned something about drugs. Did Zhang Mian drug him?

Let's turn back the time to ten hours before the predicament took place.

Ten hours ago, Zhang Wei's house.

Ryan reads the message given by Jin Wei [in case you forget, Jin Wei is the bodyguard that served Zhang Wei. He is mentioned in chapter 8] for the third time. He looked at the expressionless system. With multiple creases appeared on his forehead, Ryan said in an adamant voice.

{I don't want to go! I want to stay at home, instead!}

(Bullshit! Of course, you need to go, host! You can ignore some plots, but you must follow through on every important event that will take place later! Don't take the world's kindness for granted. You needed enough points and energy to go into the next world, host!)

{And get through the cliche gang-raping plot? I refuse!} Ryan tried to kick White Ball to vent his anger. But, the system swiftly evaded his kick and keep mocking and daunting its host by hovering closer to him and went out of reach multiple times. Ryan roared in annoyance.

{I hate you, White Ball!}

(Don't worry, host. The feeling is mutual, by the way!) White Ball snapped back. (I also absolutely hate you, dumb host!)

Ryan throws an object towards the system, which in return, is evaded by it in a leisurely manner.

(No matter how many times you tried to hit me with something, it's useless, host!)

{Oh yeah? You can evade the thing I have thrown at you, then.} Ryan lets out an evil chuckle. {You gonna broke your precious figurine, stupid! Serve you right!}

(What?) White Ball saw in its peripheral vision the identity of the thrown object. A miniature of White Ball's favorite anime. The dazzling blue color outfit and the exquisite workmanship! Its expression turned dreadful. (Oh no! My Limited Edition figurine!) The system is flying at the speed of light and barely caught its priceless treasure while cursing Ryan in its mind. (Dante Masamune!!! Are you okay?!)

{You are pitiful.} Ryan sneered. {What kind of system used his points to buy a stupid figurine, secretly?}

(I'm not going to speak with you anymore, host! You're evil! Boohoo! I hate you!) White Ball disappeared into thin air with invisible tears streaming down its round face.

"Hmph! Like I care about that, dumb system!" Ryan turned his body and crossed his arms. Little that Ryan knows, he will regret his unwise action towards the White Ball later.

Tonight, the famous Zhang Group is hosting a celebration party that is being held at Grandier Hotel. The party started at eight pm, and Zhang Wei's attendance is mandatory. Jin Wei is using a desperate move in making sure his young master appeared at the party. He is unceasingly sending him fifty direct messages and missed calls every ten minutes on his smartphone. Because of that, Ryan is forced to shut down his phone.

At 7.30 pm, Jin Wei is already standing in front of his house, waiting for him with a sullen face. Ryan didn't have any choice left other than to follow him.

At this grand party, the public will recognize Zhang Wei as the next Zhang Group's president. While the old president himself will announce his early retirement.

This is what was intended to happen. However, Zhang Mian used this perfect opportunity to tarnish Zhang Wei's clean images. She wanted to tear apart Zhang Wei's reputation. Zhang Mian will name herself as the witness of his brother's shameful deeds. When the incident happens, she will catch his brother doing something disgraceful and immoral, red-handed. She also will prepare additional evidence such as pictures and videos and accidentally published those things to the public during the climax.

There were too many loopholes in the script. However, since Zhang Mian is the FL and had the protagonist halo, everything will run smoothly. And, Ryan is, unfortunately, fallen into such a simple trap as White Ball refused to warn its host that the wine that FL offered to him is spiked with drugs. Ryan also refused to believe the wine itself is drugged. So, he bravely drinks the wine in one gulp. And, the most important thing, he couldn't believe that the system abandoned him! And because of some petty reason!

The last thing Ryan saw is Zhang Mian's mocking smile before he loses consciousness.

Ryan blinked his eyes in confusion. He is trapped in the dark. No, someone puts a blindfold over his sight. Where is this place? He felt dizzy, and his head is heavy. What happens to him?

"You can do anything you want to him. Rape him, beat him, or even kill him! I don't care. I only wanted for him to disappear from my sight! Get his ugly face out as soon as possible. And remember, don't let my daddy knows about our secret connection either." A familiar voice spoke beside him. Ah, this voice undoubtedly belongs to that one girl that despises him so much.

"Mian, you're cruel. Although he is only your stepbrother, both of you still share the same father." A man's voice replied. Ryan felt warm hands keep groping and kneading his thighs and waist. "You called him ugly? With this face, anyone will line up to have a taste of him."

Damn it. Who dares to molest my body? I will bite your fingers off!

"He converted the things that don't belong to him. It serves him right. He should blame his bad luck and his stupid brain for falling into a silly trap." Zhang Mian sneered.

{Stupid system! Why didn't you warned me that the wine is drugged?}

(System is currently offline.) White Ball replied in a monotone voice. Then, he hears a long beeping sound afterward.

Ryan is speechless with the system's action. That...White Ball, are you holding a grudge over that silly figurine matter?! Are you that petty?!

(...)

{System, hello? Is anybody home? Did you abandon your host, White Ball? Answer me, please?}

(...Beep... the system is currently under maintenance. The host didn't need this system's help after all. So, the system will apply for one month's vacation along the way. Beep...}

{W...wait! Adorable White Ball, come back to me. Please help me!} Ryan is in a desperate situation right now. He cannot move, nor he is sober enough to tackle this tricky situation without an outsider's help. At this rate, he might get himself into a cliche gang-raping situation! No! He didn't want to. His only hope to escape from this imminent danger is White Ball.{My super strong, mighty adorable system! Help me, please!}

White Ball indignantly rolled its eyes.

"Oh, he is awake. Isn't this better? Wakey, wakey, princess. It's time for a grand finale." The stranger's hot breath is hovering over his face. Ryan felt uncomfortable. He tried to look elsewhere, but someone pinched his chin and forcing him to keep his head steady in its place.

That someone also takes off the blindfold that covered his eyes. A bright light is blinding his sight momentarily. Ryan took several seconds to accustom his eyes to the sudden brightness.

"You have a pair of mesmerizing eyes, Zhang Wei." Kai used his right thumb to rub Ryan's cheek lightly. So smooth. He licked his lips. He wanted to take a bite of this soft and delicious-looking bun.

Ryan glared at the said man. Pervert! Just you wait. I will chop off your hands later! How dare you touch me with your dirty hands?! Wait. This man, who is he?

Ah, this man is the minor villain! He happily colluding with the FL at the beginning of the story to frame Zhang Wei. This man gets killed by the ML later. Kai Vivino, isn't it?

Kai chuckled. Feisty, like an angry kitten.

"You know, Zhang Wei, right now, you looked like an enchantress that tried to tempt and bewitch innocent people to commit evil. You shouldn't blame me if I committed the deed, right? Your face is making this urge harder to resist even more."

"Don't touch me, or you'll regret it!" Ryan growled.

Kai is letting out a burst of amused laughter. He released Ryan's cheeks and motioned for his subordinate to proceed. A burly man in a black suit approached Ryan with an injection needle filled with suspicious liquid.

"What is that?" Ryan is eyeing the questionable injection needle. He frowned.

"Well, something to heighten your passive sexual drive," Kai replied casually. "You recognized the drug. Right?"

Ryan's eyes widen in shock. An aphrodisiac drug?! No!!!

{White Ball, please help me! I promise to listen to your every command without fuss after this! Please!}

(Beep...! System is currently offline. The internet connection is low. Beep............)

{White Ball!!!} Since when do you depend on the internet connection to talk to me, your host?!
