164 Chapter 164: Gabriel and Asia

"See you, tomorrow, issei Hyoudou."

Erik said to the boy, and both he and Asia disappeared in the middle of motes of blue light.

As Erik and Asia disappeared, Issei put his hands behind his head in a thoughtful mood while thinking about something that Erik had said and talking to himself in a low voice.

"Did teacher Ravenclaw just refer to Angel Gabriel as a 'she'?"

With that thought in mind, Issei slowly walked to the house of his client for the day.

In a luxurious Japanese garden, hundreds of kilometers away from the city o Kuoh, a blue magic circle appeared on the ground, and seconds later, the figures of two people could be seen in the middle o motes of blue light. They were Erik and Asia.

The blond nun blinked slowly while looking around and taking in the new scenery. It had been her first time traveling with the help of magic and she had to admit that it was much more comfortable than traveling by airplane or bus. And much quicker too.

"This place is beautiful, Mister Ravenclaw!"

Asia said while looking at the garden.

"Glad that you liked, Asia. This is a house that I built hundreds of years ago and it is my home when I am in Japan. Now come, they are already waiting for us."

Erik replied to the blonde nun while putting a hand on her back and weakly nudging her to follow him as he started to walk slowly. Asia nodded her head and walked by Erik's side. Erik took Asia's briefcase from her hands as they entered the house and set it aside.

"You will not need this for now."

Erik said and they continued to walk inside the house. When they arrived in front of a specific door, Erik opened it and entered the room followed by Asia. And, as soon as she did, Asia was pulled into a hug by a blonde woman that had a very voluptuous body. It was Gabriel, the most beautiful Angel since creation.

"Asia, I was so concerned about you!"

Gabriel said while continuing to hug Asia dearly. The blonde nun was lost in it, not knowing how to react. But she liked the hug very much. The feeling of security that was transmitted to her through it was very nice and comfortable and she thought that it could lull her to a nice sleep. While that hug was happening, Erik walked to the other woman in the room and greeted her with a kiss on her lips.

"Hey there, love. How are you doing?"

Erik said to the woman. It was his wife, Joan.

"I'm good. But the nice thing is that you two arrived. Gabriel was going nuts while waiting for news."

Joan replied to Erik and the two of them took a seat on one of the sofas in the room, letting the two hugging blonds enjoy their moment. After a minute or two of hugs, Erik decided to call for their attention.

"Hu-hm."

Erik made a sound with his throat in a very 'Umbridge' way. He was not proud of what he had just done, but it did its job when Gabriel and Asia were 'woke up' from their state. Gabriel looked at Erik with a small glare in her eyes, as if judging him for interrupting her hug with Asia. Seeing that, Erik chuckled and Joan giggled.

"Why you don't take a seat with Asia, Gabriel. I bet that Asia will want to officially meet you."

Erik said to Gabriel, successfully disarming the glare in the Angel's eyes. Gabriel gently pulled Asia to a sofa and took a sit on it while nestling the blond nun by her side, making Erik let out a light chuckle again together with Joan's light giggle.

"Let me do the official introductions then. Asia, the blonde woman who doesn't want to let you go of her hug, is Gabriel, Heaven's most prized daughter and beekeeper of Eden's garden's bees. Gabriel, this is Asia Argento, ex-nun of the church and holder of the Twilight Healing Sacred Gear."

Erik said in an official voice. He initially wanted to change Gabriel's title from the 'most prized' to the 'most pampered' just to see her reaction but decided not to 'ruin' the moment.

"Lady Gabriel, nice to meet you!"

Asia said after the introduction was done. Gabriel smiled at that and pulled the blonde nun again to a hug.

"Nice to finally meet you too, Asia. And get rid of the 'Lady'. You can call me Gabriel, only."

Gabriel said to the cute nun, who was again melting in her embrace, and gave her a nod with her head in confirmation.

"And this beautiful lady by my side is one of my wives, Joan, the maiden of Orléans, and mother of Alphonse."

Erik said again, introducing Joan to Asia, with two of her preferred titles. He could have used the title of Saint that Joan had got from the church, but since she was not a big fan of it, Erik decided to use the other one that made her really happy. The blonde nun looked at Joan in the middle of Gabriel's embrace and smiled at her.

"Nice to meet you, Lady Joan."

The blonde said and rested her head again on Gabriel's boson. Joan smiled at Asia's behavior.

"No need for the Lady too, Asia."

Joan said to the girl, receiving a small nod of her head in understanding as an answer.

"Joan, why do you have the same title as Saint Joan?"

Asia asked some moments later, after raising her head from Gabriel's bosom and looking at Joan with a confused look on her face. Joan smiled at that, but it was Gabriel that answered the question.

"That would be because she is Joan of Arc, Asia."

Gabriel said, making Asia's eyes go wide with the information that she was given.

"But… But… Wasn't Saint Joan killed five hundred years ago?"

Asia asked with a lot of confusion written all over her face. Gabriel nodded her head in confirmation of Asia's words.

"Yes, Asia. To the rest of the world, Joan of Arc died five hundred years ago in the city of Rouen. But in truth, Joan was saved by Erik at my request and had since been enjoying her new life. She had since long been married to Erik and they recently had a son together, little Alphonse, of whom I am the godmother."

Gabriel said, replying to Asia's question while proudly announcing the last part. When Alphonse Ravenclaw was borns, Joan had no doubts about inviting Gabriel to become his godmother. The Angel was elated with the invitation and often visited her godson in The Nexus to spoil him rotten much to changrim of the parents.

"Oh!"

Asia said in an understanding manner.

"You and Joan have a lot in common, Asia. She had been a victim of some bad apples from the church the same way that you had."

Erik said to Asia, who looked downcast at that. She knew very well the history of Joan of Arc. The French maiden had been one of her favorite saints.

"I don't think so, Mister Ravenclaw. I committed a grave sin. I healed a Devil with the Sacred Gear given to me by God."

Asia said in a self-deprecating manner. At that, Gabriel tightened the hug around the blond nun.

"That was not a sin at all, Asia. If Father wanted for his gift to be used only on humans, he would make it so that it worked only on humans. You healing someone in need, be it a Devil, Fallen Angel, animal, Yokai, or human, is not a sin at all. It only shows that you have a good heart that will do good for the others without looking at who the others are. And that is exactly what Father wanted to teach people."

Gabriel said to Asia in a calming voice. After hearing all of Gabriel's words, Asia could not hold anymore and started to cry with happiness in Gabriel's embrace. Minutes later, the girl was sleeping while tightly holding Gabriel. Seeing that, Erik 'softly' snapped his fingers.

*snap*

Raising a sound muffling barrier around Asia's ears.

"The poor thing cried to sleep."

Gabriel said while gently caressing Asia's blonde hair with a small smile on her face.

"Yes. All that had recently happened to her must have been weighing on her psyche for a very long time. Then, after hearing your words, Gabriel, all the weight was removed at once."

Erik said to Gabriel, who nodded her head in agreement and continued to gently caress Asia's hair. Seein' that, Joan hugged Erik's side while looking at the blond duo in comfortable silence.

"Does anyone want some tea while we let Asia rest a little?"

Erik asked the two women, who nodded their heads in agreement.

*snap*

With another snap of his fingers, Erik summoned a tea set and some snacks for them to enjoy.

After serving and passing the teacups to everyone, Erik sipped his tea while looking at the duo of blondes.

"You know, if I was meeting you two for the first time, I would say that the two of you are mother and daughter."

Erik suddenly said after seeing that both women had already sipped from their teacups. He didn't want to induce a 'spit take' scene, at the moment. Gabriel froze at Erik's comment while Joan looked at her husband with a raised eyebrow, wondering what her husband wanted to get with that comment. While Joan was wondering about Erik's intentions, Gabriel's thoughts were running a thousand kilometers per second. She had to admit, it was not the first time that the thought of being a mother had passed by her head. The first time had been when she had held her godson, Alphonse Ravenclaw, in her hands for the first time. Since then, the thought would randomly appear inside her head. Mainly when Gabriel was visiting her godson. But now, the thought appeared again, with Gabriel imagining herself as Asia's mother. And she had to admit again, the thought was very sweet to her. Very sweet indeed.
