158 Chapter 158: Summer and Date

Aika replied, shocking Issei.

After that episode, Issei seemed to get back to his usual self and started hanging out a lot with Aika. That, together with the kiss, of course, started a series of rumors about the two of them being a couple. The duo denied it every time that they were asked about it, but neither of them could forget the kiss that happened.

When the school year ended and summer vacation started, Issei and Aika decided to give it a try to date, and for most than half of the summer, they did it. The perverted couple went on various cliche dates, like the beach date, the amusement park date, the aquatic park date, the pool date, the zoo date, and the movies' date. And, due to the natural pervertedness of both of them, the couple went on some strange dates too, like a visit to some adult stores, and the classical making out at a park in the late hours.

Of course, aside from exploring the 'date universe', the couple went on with some private meetings too where they explored each other bodies through messy makeout sessions in their bedrooms. Okay, maybe not 'some', but a lot of them. Needless to say that Issei's mother and father were very happy with him finding a girlfriend and would make themselves scarce to give the couple some space. They were a little concerned that due to their son's excessive perverted tendencies, he would never find a nice girl to date. And because of that, they were very generous in giving the couple of exploring teenagers all the space that they needed. Secretly, Miki, Issei's mother, was cheering for a grandbaby for her to spoil and take care of.

But that would not happen so soon. Despite all the exploration that the couple of perverted teenagers did during summer, they had never crossed the last line. Aika didn't feel that she was ready for that big of a step yet and Issei, incredible enough, respected her feelings and kept himself in check. Aika's friendship was more important to him than getting rid of his v-card.

When the summer vacation was almost over, both teenagers decided to end their exploratory relationship. All the amazing exploration and discoveries aside, they knew that it would not last since aside from the friendship and hornyness that they had to go, they had no other feelings for each other. That summer would remain in their memories as the summer where they had learned how to 'treat' their partners without crossing the last barrier and where they had a lot of fun while doing it.

When school started again, a more 'tranquil' Issei attended classes. The change in the boy's behavior was definitely noticed by everyone through the first week of classes. Issei no longer had the need to keep staring at the girls' bodies during the classes intervals or during PE. He would occasionally glance at them and appreciate it, but it was not the hungry stare from before. Occasionally, the girls from his class started to approach him to ask something or just to talk. Unknown to Issei, Aika had a big hand in that with her tales of how good Issei was during their dates while never forcing her to do anything that she didn't want to do too. And like what happened in all schools gossip circles, by the end of the day, every girl at school knew how 'good' Issei was to Aika.

The gossip eventually reached the ears of a long black-haired beauty, that decided to report it to her King. After Akeno's report to Rias about the last gossip running through the school, the redhead King decided to keep an eye on Issei. She had, some time ago, detected the very faint draconic aura coming from the perverted boy and assumed it to be from one of the weak Sacred Gears with a draconic origin, and due to Issei's behavior decided to not waste her time with him. But now, since the word was that the boy had changed so much, Rias decided to keep an eye on him as a possible pawn or even rook candidate.

"Have you noticed something different at school today, Aika?"

Issei asked his bespectacled friend, who looked at him while frowning. Just after arriving at school today, Issei had this feeling in his guts that something was not quite right. It was not something big, but it was enough to make him feel uneasy about something that he couldn't tell what it was. So, he decided to ask his friend, Aika, if she had noticed anything unusual.

"No. I have not noticed anything unusual."

Aika replied to Issei.

"Are you sure that you are not on those days?"

Aika asked the boy with a smirk on her face, making Issei roll his eyes at that. That kind of banter was something very common between them. Issei had his answer to Aika's 'poke' on the tip of his tongue and was ready to deliver it when their homeroom teacher entered the classroom, starting the classes for the day and making Aika go back to her seat. Classes progressed as normal with nothing unusual happening at all. That is, until the last class for the day. Just as the school's bell rung, Yuma Amano, the sweaty beauty of the class got up from her seat and decisively walked to where Issei's seat was. With some red on her cheeks, she hurriedly offered a letter to Issei.

"For me?"

The boy asked the girl, who nodded her head hurriedly in confirmation. Issei then extended his hand and grabbed the letter. As he did it, Yuma Amano bolted from the classroom, leaving behind some flabbergasted classmates together with a dumbfounded Issei.

"Look at that! Issei received a love letter! And from the sweety beauty Yuma Amano nonetheless."

Issei's dumbfounded state was interrupted by Aika's teasing voice. The boy looked at the smirking girl and then at the letter that was still in his hand.

"A love letter?"

Issei said in a low voice and then looked again at Aika.

"Do you think that it is really that?"

Issei asked Aika.

"Well, taking into consideration Yuma's reaction while delivering it to you, I would say that the possibility for it to be a love letter is big."

Aika said to Issei, who continued to not believe that something like that was happening with him and continued to look at the letter in his hands like it was a mirage or something like that.

"So, you going to read it or what? You know that it is very rude to let a girl wait, don't you?"

Aika said again to Issei, waking him up.

"Yeah, I know. You taught me that very well."

Issei said to Aika while smiling at her and opening the letter's envelope and retrieving the paper. It was during one of their first dates that Issei was late and Aika saw herself in the right of punishing him for making her wait. After that day, Issei was never again late for another date. After retrieving the letter from the envelope, Issei unfolded the paper and started to read it. It was a simple letter in what Yuma Amano asked Issei to meet with her in a different place while alone.

"Well, it seems that she wants to talk with me.

Issei spoke calmly to Aika, who was looking at him.

"When?"

Aika asked Issei.

"Now?"

Issei replied in a not sure manner.

"Well? What are you waiting for then? Another written invitation?"

Aika said again, verbally kicking Issei's butt to move.

"Right!"

Issei said and started to hurriedly store his school stuff inside his bag. Soon after, Issei walked out of the classroom to meet with Yuma Amano at the location that she had asked for.

Half an hour later, a dumfounded Issei walked back inside the classroom and saw his friend, Aika, waiting for him while reading one of her smut books. Slowly, he walked to where she was seating. Aika, noticing Issei's arrival, closed her book and looked at him.

"So, how it was?"

Aika asked Issei.

"Er… I think that I have a girlfriend."

Issei said slowly with a somewhat confused face. Aika got confused by that answer too.

"What do you mean 'I think'?"

Aika asked back to Issei.

"Well, she asked me to be her boyfriend and we are going on a date this Sunday."

Issei replied to Aika, yet not really believing what had just happened to him. Aika smiled at Issei.

"That's nice, Issei."

Aika said while smiling. She was happy for her friend. Issei nodded his head in agreement with her.

"And she has a nice pair of boobs too."

Aika commented again, making Issei nod his head dumbly while a goofy smile appeared on his face. Issei's behavior could have changed in the last few months but he was still the same perverted boy from before and a boob's lover at heart.

In another building inside the school's grounds, Rias Gremory was hearing the report coming from one of his bishops, Valeria Tepes. As the blond girl finished her report, the redhead King adopted a thoughtful mood.

"So the Fallen Angel decided to act inside our school while targeting Issei Hyoudou."

Rias Gremory said out loud, resuming what Valerie Tepes had just reported. The blond Vampire-Devil nodded her head in agreement with the resumed version that her King had said.

"Valerie, you, together with Gasper, will have to keep an eye on Issei Hyoudou for the time being. We still don't know what are the Fallen Angels' ultimate goal in the city, so we will avoid confrontation for now."

Rias said to Valerie, who nodded her head in understanding. She would take the opportunity to have some good moments with Gasper. Valerie just loved to tease the boy in public.

"But, if you notice that Issei's life is in danger at any moment, you are authorized to intervene and save him."

Rias said again, reinforcing the importance of protecting Issei's life. Valerie, again, nodded her head in understanding.

On Sunday afternoon, Issei walked into the place where he had agreed to meet with Yuma ten minutes before the agreed time. After some minutes of waiting, the boy saw the girl that he was waiting for arrive.

"You are looking very cute, Yuma."

Issei said to the girl. And she indeed was. Yuma Amano was wearing a light sundress with a beige small blouse. The girl smiled at the compliment.

"Thank you, Issei."

Yuma Amano replied sweetly. After the trade of pleasantries, the 'teenagers' decided to start their date. Clothes stores, the movies, a bakery, more stores. The couple went through a series of 'traditional' date places and Yuma seemed to be enjoying them all. Seemed was the right word here. Issei, not the inexperienced boy that had never gone on a date before, noticed that his 'girlfriend' behavior was somewhat strange. It was too mechanical and seemed to be too perfect. Issei sighed internally at that. It seemed that things would not work between him and Yuma.

At the end of the date, Issei was walking with Yuma through one o the parks at the center of the city. The sun had already gone down and the lights of the place were all turned on, illuminating the pathways of the park. As the couple approached the fountain in the center of the park, Issei noticed that the park was empty. He and Yuma were the only people that he could see around the place, something that was strange for that hour of the day. The last time that he had come here with Aika, the place was full of couples doing their own business.

"Issei?!"

Issei was shaken off his thoughts by Yuma calling his name. He looked at the girl and saw that she still had a sweet smile on her face.

"I had a lot of fun today. Before we finish this day, can you do one last thing for me?"

Yuma asked in a sweet voice, making Issei nod his head in a kind of automatic response.

"Can you, please, die for me?"
