Apology

Back to present,

"how will I apologize to this girl" Nick kept thinking to himself. "huh, the bell has gone" Nick said as he was heading to Chania's table. "Hey" Nick said. "what now" she replied. "I want to say sorry for what you heard in the morning, it was not what you thought." Nick said. "Then what was it then?" she asked. "Okay, the thing is that when we were speaking, we didn't know you were there but since you already heard it, I think you should already know I like you." he replied.

"That's it " she replied "Anything else you have to say, 'cause I have things to do and you have already taken my time " "I thought you're new, you already have things to do?" Nick said to her. "Yah, I do" she replied.

I can't believe she wouldn't even care about what I feel. "okay then " I replied. What's this, this was new, as she was leaving me, she went ahead smiling to another guy, damn , it was Jack. She went as she was very excited.

For some reason, it hurt to see her leave me uninterested while heading for another guy. "Hey, Nick" I heard a familiar female voice, oh it was Kelly. "Anything wrong " she continued. "Nothing is up" I lied.

For a time, I didn't feel like over speaking, am used to being so loud but I was just not in the mood. "What's up, I can see something is not right, you know you can tell me?" she continued. " I know but am okay, see am now smiling, is it alright now" I said. "You've managed to convince me for now." she replied.

"Where is Elly by the way?" I asked myself. I never saw him. *later in the evening* I saw her, "Hey" I called her. "What" she replied. " hey, cool down, am not going to eat eat you." I replied. Before I had even stopped talking, I saw Jack coming my way, and I saw her mood brighten up. I was a bit pissed but I didn't lose my cool.

Worst part is we were on the soccer field and Jack was on the school team, so they started playing with each other. I tried to get the ball as they had tossed it towards me, when I tried to pick it up and crack a joke, she said " Don't you have something to do? " "oh" I said " I didn't mean to disturb you" I felt like choking on my own words.

The next day, I talked a lot and told Ryan everything, Elly was not around the entire day yesterday, although I didn't bother to ask, so much was on my mind. Then Ryan showed me something, wow , she was there touching Jack's skin like it was not even a big deal.

I was wondering, Jack is already dating Kelly, why go for Chania, it continued like that for almost a month, I had to work hard not to lose my cool although she was never mine.
