15 Chapter 15: My Salvation and Torment

Maybe my happily ever after does exist.

I’m lucky to experience this kind of happiness in my life despite not being able to leave my own version of a glass slipper. Even though we have only been dating for a few weeks now, I still haven’t mustered the courage to tell him the truth about that night.

“Sandra?” Arthur’s low and husky voice interrupted my thoughts. I turned my head towards the source of the voice to see him grinning widely at me. His smile was one of happiness that was growing, similar to a spring flower that has bloomed. I could see how it came from deep inside to light his eyes and spread to every part of him. The energy that he radiated was just so pure and genuine that it even had the power to make me feel warm inside.
